Basically two hands played poorly knocked me out of here. Otherwise my play was ok. I sort of got impatient and tired of folding "possible" cards to large bets.
Hand 57 I'm on the BTN w/Ks Qd. Action folds to me and I open raise 300 hoping to cause both blinds to fold. The SB, short stack, had 805 chips and is playing 11 hands, but has been jumping in more frequently now that his stack is so low. The BB has 2166 chips. SB raises me all-in, BB folds and I decide to call since it's only 555 more chips. SB shows As 10h, one overcard. The board plays out 9d 9c 6h Ac Qh. His overcard hits and he wins.
Hand 67 I'm BTN again w/Jh Qh and 1385 chips, blinds 50/100. Action folds to me and I open raise 3 BB (300) hoping to takes the blinds one more time. SB folds and BB re-raises me going all-in, I call putting me all-in. BB shows Ad 7d. One more time I'm up against an overcard. The board plays out 9s 6c 8h 7s Ks, neither of us hits anything, but the Ace overcard wins. I'm done.
I mainly needed to not make those calls when my blind steals were aggressively over bet. Both those hands had good potential for a monster flop, but I needed to get in cheaply and at worse with my 3 BB open raise blind steal. If I couldn't do that my only real option was to fold.
