Was really too tired to play in here. Some early mistakes. I'd made a bit of a comeback but on last hand w/pocket J's, when a possible club flush showed up on the Turn, I raised a bet all-in. They had the flush. Nothing more needs to be said!

I played fine until the last hand. I decided to play aggressively pocket K's against a one suit flop and a player who had made some really poor calls earlier that took them from top stack down to a modest stack. I should have just checked the flop or made a modest bet to see where I stood.
Hand 42. I'm HJ w/Ks Kc w/4135 chips. Blinds 120/240/ante 25. Action folds to MP w/13,615 chips and they open raise 3 BB (720), I reraise to 1680, rest fold and MP calls. Flop Qd Ad 7d. Not the fold I wanted to see. I think about it and then decide I'll gamble on his poor play and bet all-in w/my last 2455 chips into the 3920 pot. MP calls and shows 10d 8d. Crummy starting cards, winning hand!!! Of course that does not excuse my poor play on the flop!!!
I need to remember, besides to not play poorly, to keep my mind on the goal and what I need to do to get there. Yes I would have hated to fold my pocket K's, but under the circumstances, unless the Turn & River gave me a FH and it only took very minor chip amounts to stay for the draws, I had no business continuing that hand and certainly not getting all-in hoping 1) MP made another poor play and 2) that his poor cards didn't hit the flush. Up to the flop I feel I played that hand fine.

Paid with my Tournament $. Managed to double 270 w/AKo in Hand 6. Got lucky calling a 645 chip all-in w/A 10o Hand 20. The all-in had pocket Q's. Flop 4h Ad 2c.Turn 6h. River 9h. That put me in a decent position w/1320 chips to relax a bit.
Hand 24. Gave a bunch back. Blinds 50/100. I'm UTG+1 w/Ad Qs. UTG w/490 chips open raises all-in, I decide to call, rest fold. UTG shows 7h 8h. I have two overcards. Flop Js 8s 5d. He pairs his 8. Turn 3h. River 3s. I'm down to 750 chips and begin to sweat a bit.
Hand 38. Blinds are 150/300 and we are on the bubble for the top 30. I'm HJ w/pocket 10's (10h 10s). MP w/618 chips limps in w/300. I debate calling and/or raising all-in w/my last 405 chips but it's still three places before blinds hit me again and I decide to pass and play slow. I'm in the middle to upper 20's. BB checks. Flop 3h 6c 2h. Not a bad one if I was in their w/my 10's. BB bets all-in w/last 165 chips and MP calls. BB shows pocket J's (Jc Js) and MP1 shows pocket A's (Ad Ah). Phew!! Sure glad I wasn't still in. :-) Turn 6s. River 4d. BB loses and is out in 31st place.

I likely would have finished, at least, a bit higher but was too impatient on the last hand. I had 7h 8h. Flop Jd 10c 9s. I have the lower half of a straight. Blinds 300/600/ante 75. MP1, BTN & I are in. I 'm 1st and decide to bet the pot (2775), MP1 folds, and BTN, who has 52,824 chips raises to 5550. I debate if he's really has KQ, is just pushing me to get me out, or on a draw. Anyway I decide to call. Turn 3s. I bet my last 179 and BTN shows Kh Qc. Rats! he really did have it. :-/ I'm gone.
I needed to be a bit more patience, likely not even make that big of a bet on the low end of a straight, and certainly after I was raised by so much, I should have folded.

The freeroll was there and I feel it is an opportunity practice/experiment at building my chip stack in a very large field. To date, I've not been very successful at that.
Nothing special to write about. I had mixed play but none that was terribly. A few hands of decent cards didn't hold (I have high cards, board puts out low cards; that type of thing).

Didn't really get into this session. Had an early break and I was tired so laid down and fell asleep for a bit. Only lost a few chips, but had new all-in player every hand. I called w/KQ but was beat out by other player who was also in that hand. Nothing else I need to say.

Not much to say here, I lost chips on hand 4 but had pocket A's on hand 5 and even if I had those chips I lost, I'd still be gone. Glad it was a freeroll.
Hand 4. I'm SB w/Qh 3h. HJ limps in w/30, CO folds, BTN & I call, BB checks. Flop Jc Qc 2c. I pair my Q but there is a possible straight out there. I decide to bet the pot to see where I stand and HJ calls and BTN folds. Don't know a lot more, just that a pot bet didn't scare him away. Turn 6d. I decide to only check as does the HJ. River 5d. I decide, since I've not heard much from him, to bet the pot (360) and he calls. HJ shows Js 5s, He paired his J on the flop and the 5 on the River. I'm not sure a Turn bet would have got him to back down. I'm down to 930 chips.
Hand 5. I'm the BTN w/pocket A's (Ac As). UTG open raises all-in. I might pick up a few chips here. Action fold to me and I call all-in w/my last 930 chips. UTG shows pocket Q's (Qc Qd). I'm feeling pretty good about my A's. Alas the flop changes all of that. Flop 2c Qs 2d. UNG hits a Q set. Turn 8s. River 6h. I'm done before I even get started.
I would have liked to have played hand 4 better, but I'm fine with my play on hand 5.

I'm not going to say much here. I managed to eke out a win. It would have been a bit less tense for me if I'd not tried one more win w/AKo. A short stack w/7d 10c did not hit either BUT as I seem to see all too often an up and down straight from 3 to 8. He only need 4 of the 5 board cards for a straight. :-/
Players, including me, started slow playing, letting the timer run down as we got near the 30 mark. Makes for boring game play but helps keep your chip stack somewhat intack.

Yeah I made a 1st!!!! It sure didn't feel like it was going to be this way early on and I was going on a bit of tilt wondering why I'm playing this and not winning!!! 1st hand I'd have loved to played. I was on the BTN w/10d Jd. UTG+1 limped in, MP1 called, MP2 raised to 60, HJ re-raised to 285, CO folded, the 285 raise was my clue to fold, action folded to UTG+1 who called, MP1 & MP2 folded. That could have been the end of this hand for my feelings about it. Flop 9d 3s Qd. Oh my, if I was still in I'd have an open-ended STRAIGHT FLUSH draw. How fast I could go broke drawing on that!!! :-) Turn 5d. I'd have had a flush. River Kd. BINGO!!!! Oh well, someday that will happen when I'm in a position to be in on the action!! That wasn't what was getting to me in this session. Hand 2 a player hit Quad Q's on the Flop of Qc Qd Qs. Phew, how often do cards fall this way?
Hand 8. My 1st chance to get in on the action. I'm SB w/pocket 10's (10s 10c). Seven players left, blinds 20/40. Action folds to the HJ who limps in w/40, CO folds, I raise to 3 BB (120), BB folds and HJ calls. Flop 9d 5c 6h. Not a bad flop for my 10's. I bet 140 into the 420 pot, HJ calls. River Kc. Darn. I decide to just check this one as does the HJ. River Ad. Double Darn!! I check and the HJ does too. HJ shows Ac 8c, havng paired his Ace on the River. I'm surprised he didn't make some kind of bet on the River. I could have bet on the Turn and maybe that would have got him off his Ace, but I didn't want to risk my chips at this early point in the session. I'm down to 1200 chips. A couple of hands later w/pocket 6's and a flop of Q 3 10, I'm down to 960 chips. Next hand I go from bad to worse!!
Hand 16. I'm SB w/Kd Jh. HJ, CO, & I limp in w/50, BB checks. Flop Js 3c 8d. I have top pair w/a K kicker. I bet 100 into the 200 pot, BB folds, HJ & CO call. Turn 8h. Pairs the board. I check, HJ bets 150 into the 500 pot, CO folds and I decide to call. River 7d. I have top two pair, but HJ did bet on the Turn. I check and the HJ bets 300 into the 800 pot. Phooey. I reluctantly call because I'm afraid he has an 8. HJ shows Ad 8s. I'm down to 360 chips. Aren't I a great poker player??????
Hand 44. I've managed to get up to 865 chips. I'm BTN w/10s 4c. Still seven players, blinds are 50/100. Action folds to me and I go all-in hoping to pick up the blinds. SB calls me and BB folds. SB shows Kh 3c, one overcard. Flop 5s 5c 10h. I pair my 10. Turn 9s. River 3s. Phew, my paired 10 held. I now have 1830 chips and am back in the game!
Hand 68. We make the bubble. Big stack has 7135 chips, 2nd high 2500, 3rd (me) 2080, and short stack 1545. Except for the big stack we're all pretty close.
Hand 80 broke the bubble. Big stack had 8120 chips, 2nd 2620, and short stack (me) 2360.
By hand 96 it's looking bleak for me again as I'm down to 1000 chips.
Hand 97. I'm SB w/Kh Js, blinds are 120/240. After I post the SB I only have 880 chips left. The BTN open raises 3 BB (720) and I decide to raise all-in. If I get lucky I win, if not, I come in 3rd. BB folds and BTN calls. SB shows pocket 5's (5h 5d). I have two over cards. Flop 10c 9d 8c. I now have an open-ended straight draw. Turn Ac. River Jc. I get lucky and pair my J and have 2240 chips.
Hand 99. I have a nice win. I'm BB w/Kh 6h. BTN folds, SB limps in w/240, I check. Flop Ks Qd 6s. I flop top and bottom pair. SB bets all-in w/3000 chips. Hmm, I wonder what they have, but I decide to call, particularly since they limped in pre-flop and it seems unlikely they have pocket K's or Q's. They could have pocket 6's. SB shows Kd 10s. Hand 107. I get lucky here. I'm SB w/Kh 4h and open raise 3 BB (720), BB calls. Flop Jc Ah 7h. I have a nut flush draw. BB bets 1/2 the 1440 pot and I decide to call. Turn 6c. BB surprises me w/a check, but that is fine with me as I have nothing so far and love a free shot at the nut flush. River Qh. I hit my flush!!! BB bets 720 into the 2880 pot.and I raise to 1680. 9 jSNG $1 + .20 End 3rd approx 104 hands
Finally I made the money! Wasn't sure that was going to happen. About 20 min into the session FT cut out on me, not Comcast this time. I wasn't able to bet back in for 8 min. Fortunately the blinds were low so I wasn't too badly harmed by the outage.
I'm not going to say much about this one. I find that with my tighter play as we near the bubble the top two players have 2x or more chips than I do. Their looser play builds more chips for them and I'm debating what I should do about my play to give me a better advantage.
I had a good chance of going HU with the leader but one hand poorly played near the end hurt me.
Hand 102. There are 3 of us, big stack and BTN w/7870 chips, me as SB w/3650 chips, and short stack as BB w/1620 chips. Blinds are 250/500. The BTN folds, I limp in w/500, & the BB checks. Flop Qd 6c 3h. I min bet 500 into the 1000 pot and BB goes all-in w/their last 1620 chips. It would have been best if I folded here but I call. BB shows 10c 3d having paired their 3 for bottom pair. I expected him to have somewhat better cards. Turn 9h. River 9c. I'm down to 1690 chips.
Hand 103 I have pocket 6's on the BTN and go all-in w/them. SB & BB fold.
Hand 104 I have pocket 4's (4s 4d), am BB. BTN goes all-in w/3940 chips, SB folds, and I call w/my last 1990 chips. Again I could have folded here and hope for better next hand but with blinds 300/600 I won't be around for long. I'm hoping, at worse, he only has two overcards. Indeed he does, Kc Qc. Are those the cards I need to be worried about? Of course not, that would be too simple!! He does not hit either one of them! Flop Jd Ad 5s. He now has 1/2 of an open-ended straight draw. Turn 10d. & he gets it!!! He only needed THREE cards for that to happen!!! Well, at least I was in the money AND I could have folded those hands which would have been the better poker play.

It is not satisfying to go out with the best starting pre-flop and post flop cards to a gutshot straight. Build yourself back up from a poor early hand, play carefully, then get the really good cards to be ahead 88/12 pre-flop and 82/18 post-flop and boom on the turn you are dead in your tracks! Grrrrrr.
Hand 83. We have been on the bubble since hand 56 where I was low stack w/1250 chips, next high had 2750, then 4240, and top stack 4560. Almost the same senario as last session. I'm BTN w/pocket A's (Ah Ad) and 1940 chips (short stack by about 400), CO (2nd high stack w/4190 chips) open raises 2 BB (240). I'm happy to see that as it means I might get some action for my A's. SB & BB fold, CO calls and shows Kd Qh. Good, not even a pair. Flop 8h 9h Jd. That worried me about a flush runner, runner draw; I didn't really notice the gutshot straight draw. Turn 10d. Uh oh another red card; oh, it's a diamond OK. NO, NOT OK!! He has a straight!!! I CAN'T WIN!!! River 6c. Sadly it's over for me the 3rd session in a row at the $1 + .20 buy-in!!!! :-/
Hand 21. My early poor play. Seven players left. I'm SB w/Kd 8c. Action folds to me and I open raise 2 BB (100), BB calls. Flop 3s 6d Kc. I pair my K. I bet 100 into the 200 pot and the BB calls. Turn Ac. Darn, an overcard. I plunge ahead betting 200 into the 400 pot hoping he didn't hit the Ace. BB calls. I'm not too hopeful. River 6h. Board is paired. I check and BB bets 450 into the 800 pot. I wonder, does he really have that Ace and reluctantly call. Well as it turns out he does NOT have that Ace, he has something better. BB had flopped top two pair and on the River hit a FH w/their Ks 6s. I'm down to 425 chips. The best I might have been able to do would have been to check the Turn and folded if he put any pressure on. If that scenario had happened I would have been left w/1075 chips instead of 425. Maybe that would have let me build up enough chips so I could take that hit in Hand 83.
The other thing I find difficult at this level is seeing hands I folded that later would have hit if I had bet them in. Now I know once I fold them that is it and even if I hadn't there is no guarantee they would have hit anyway. Still it's irksome to see my chips dwindling and not able to do much about it.

Played reasonably well and kept myself out of the way of the loose players early on. I didn't have any great hands. When we hit the bubble at hand 31, I had 1595 chips, big stack had 5260 and the other two 3005 & 3640. So they outnumbered me. I didn't have any good hands after that either and though I could occasionally pick up a few chips the blinds were eating my chips away. Last hand where I had a chance to pick up a few chips w/pocket 8's they were beat out by K 10o; they hit their 10. & that was that!

Gambled on an open-ended straight draw after the flop, didn't hit it, another player did.
Hand 4. I'm SB w/Ks Jh. UTG+1 limps in w/30, MP1, HJ, & I call, BB checks. Flop 9d 10s 8h. I have an open-ended straight draw & if the Q side hits I'll be K high. I min bet 30, BB calls, UTG+1 raises to 60, MP1 calls, HJ re-raises to 210, I call, BB folds, UTG+1 re-raises to 915, MP1 folds, HJ re-raises all-in w/last 2385 chips, I reluctantly call w/my last 1020 chips, and UTG+1 calls w/their last 15 chips. UTG+1 shows As 10d, having paired their 10. HJ shows 7d Js having hit the flop on boths ends for a straight. All I can do now is hope for an 8 or a Q. Turn Kd. Pairs my K which is no help. River 8c. I'm gone .. EARLY! I knew what I was doing was risky, so I don't feel bad about the result per se. However, in terms of good poker play I should have folded on the HJ's all-in re-raise.
Been awhile since I've played this low of a buy-in and at least for this session, play is a lot looser!!! I'll have to be very careful not to develop more bad habits.

Mainly not patience enough. I decided to go with pocket 7's and they were against A 10o. He paired his Ace and I was done. Of course my earlier AKo went nowhere and I had to fold it to low board cards & a 480 bet on the River. Another player earlier w/pocket 7's against AQo won. A couple hands later with pocket 3's vs AQo he won too. Ah, but when it came to me, the poker gods did not smile down.
Hand 3 I did get lucky. I had Ac Qc and the flop came Jd Kh Jc. The player to my right kept betting each round suggesting they had a J. Turn was a 6h. River 10s. Phew I hit my straight, now if that only didn't give him a FH. I was able to make a nice bet and he called. Indeed he did have that J and I was lucky to win.
Hand 15 I had high hopes that pocket 10's might bring me some chips. The puzzle was what might MP2 have. They open raised w/3 BB (150) and I called from the BTN. Flop 7h 5s 2h. MP2 checked and I bet 175 into the 375 pot, MP2 called. Turn 5h. Board paired plus possible flush out there. MP2 checks again and this time so do I. River Qc. Also not a card I like to see. MP2 bet 550 into the 725 pot and I decide it's in my best interest to fold.

Not much to say about this one In the 1st group of 6 we had one LAG that oten made any reasonable play difficult. I never had much in cards and suddenly I was there HU w/1070 chips to 7690. No really decent cards showed and in last hand I was down to 590 chips w/pocket 3's (3h 3c). Went all-in with them, was called, and they showed 10s 9c, two overcards. The board hit them, not me: Ad 4d 4h 10h Qc and I was outta there.
I was only able to play a couple of hands before HU. I never had good cards and raising around me made it seem unreasonable to make any calls.

I mainly entered this 1) because it was there when I started looking for a session to play, and 2) for some practice in building my chip stack in large field tournaments. I had done ok till near the end when I decided to compete with a player going all-in every hand to pick up the small chip stacks of the 6 out of 9 players who were sitting out and I imagine hoping to get lucky if he had poor cards and one of the live chip stacks called him.
Hand 80. I'd built my chip stack from 1500 to 3560, which is not much but at least on the plus side. I'm UTG w/pocket Q's (Qh Qc) and open raise 2 BB (240) MP1 raises to 360, CO calls and I re-raise to 900. MP1 re-raises to 1440; the HJ re-raises all-in w/their last 8455 chips, and I'm wondering what I'm getting myself in for. I call w/my last 2660 chips. Am I up against AA & KK? MP1 shows Ah Qd & CO shows Ac Ks. I just have to watch out for A's & K's. If this wasn't a freeroll, I don't know that I'd have called at this point, since it's no big deal if I bomb out from here, but is this just another time where I'm not listening to what the other players are doing, which is a bad habit I have? The other problem here is some players really play really poor cards, much poorer than I would ever expect, so these raises may not have been w/decent cards. In this case they both had decent cards. Flop 2c 10c 4d. So far so good. Turn 3s. River 6d. My Q's hold, I have 10,000 chips!! Right after this I get switched to another table.
Hand 82 I get a few more chips. I'm the CO w/7c 6h. Five of the 9 players are sitting out. Action folds to me and I bet open raise 2 BB (240), the BB calls. Flop Jd 8h 4d. I have a gutshot straight draw. BB checks and I make a min bet of 120 into the 540 pot. BB calls. Turn 5c. I get my gutshot!! Again BB checks and I bet 360 into the 780 pot, BB calls. River 6s. No harm but it might give BB a straight as well. BB checks & I bet 900 into the 1500 pot and BB calls. BB shows Qd 8s having just paired the 8. I win and now have 12,480 chips. In a higher level game I doubt I'd have found a player with just paired 8's who would have called my River bet. A few hands later I'm switched to another table. This is the one where I get done in. Six of the 9 players are sitting out, all have very low chip stacks. The player to my left is going all-in every hand and I'm folding most of my hnnds to him hoping for a good one I might call him on.

Action folds to me and I limp in w/180 (just in case he doesn't go all-in), but true to form he raises me all-in w/20,169 chips. I call. He shows Ac 6s; at least it's only one overcard. Flop 7s Jh 4c. So far so good. Turn 9d. River Ks. I win and have 23,600 chips!!!
Hand 99 I take another chance and he sucks out on me on the River. I'm HJ w/Kh 5h. He's CO down to 8,654 chips now. Action folds to me and I limp in w/2 BB (160), and indeed he's all-in again. He has 3c 6c. Maybe I'll be able to knock him out. Flop 2s 9d Kc. Yes!! My K paired, so he can't out-pair me unless he pairs both his 6 & 3. Turn 10c. That I'd rather not see. He now has a flush draw. River 9c. And indeed he hits his flush. :-/ I'm back to 15,026 and he has 17,548.
Hand 101. Having been unsuccessful w/K5s I decide to try K4s to see if I do any better. We have one new player who has 25,670 chips. I'm MP1 w/Kd 4d. Action folds to me and as I've been doing I limp in w/a 2 BB bet of 160, MP2, as he's been doing raises all-in w/17,783 chips, action folds to me and I call. MP2 shows, unfortunately for me, pocket A's (As Ah). For a change he has decent cards. Bad timing on my part. Can I suck out on him??? I can dream can't I? Flop 5d Jh 5c. Not looking good. Turn 6s. Action folds to CO and short stack (680 chips) who limps in w/160, BTN & SB fold, I raise to 560, CO goes all-in w/last 520 and I call. CO shows Ad 10d. Flop 5s 9c 3d. Turn As. River 8h. I now have 3630 chips. I'm within 160 chips of the chip leader. I even later become chip leader for a few hands.
Hand 70. This where I give most of my chips away. I'm not sure what my mind was thinking, as when I made my raise I didn't realize I only had 715 chips left. My brain went South!! Five players, blinds 80/160. I'm the BTN w/Ah 8c and 3035 chips (I the some previous hand to short stack tight player). UTG folds and CO (loose player) limps in w/160, I decide to raise to 560 (loose player often folded to my raises), SB & BB fold, CO calls. Flop 9h Ks 8d. I pair my 8. CO bets 880 into the 1360 pot, and because he has shown loose play, I almost instant raise him to 1760 without thinking about its effect on my chip stack and since it was in instant raise, not thinking much that he might have a K that could easily beat me. My only real option there was to fold. CO, instead of folding re-raised me to 2640. Rats. At that point I realized what I had done and concluded he must be able to beat my paired 8 and fold. Grrrrrr. Ticked off at myself!!
Hand 73. I was hoping I could begin to salvage some chips this hand. Blinds are 100/200. I'm BB w/Ac Qh and 515 left in chips after posting the BB. The BTN open raises 800, SB (loose player) calls, as do I. Flop 10c 5c Ad. That gives me some hope. SB bets 2200 into the 2145 pot and the BTN folds. CO shows pocket 5's (5d 5h). I need an Ace or two clubs that don't pair the board. Turn 8h. River Jd. Alas that doesn't happen.
Hand 54. I'm HJ w/pocket 10's (10c 10d) and 1125 chips. UTG+1, a loose player, limps in w/120, I decide to raise all-in, rest fold to BB who calls all-in w/1105 chips, UTG+1 folds. BB shows Ac Qd, two overcards. Flop 8 s Kc 7s. Turn 10h. Nice, but does give BB gutshot straight draw. River 8h. I win and have 2430 chips. I'm in the game!!

90 SNG $1 + .10 End 7th Won $3.60 195 hands
A lot of work for not a lot of money. I mainly played the 90 SNG to get some practice in making it to the money in a larger field. I'm still shaky when it gets to these final higher blinds situations. I might have made it one higher or even more but the last two hands were not played well.
I'm not sure playing at the $1.20 buy-in level is that good of a learning place but it was the one that was just about to 90 players when I was checking them out.
Hand 192. Blinds 1000/2000/ante 250. I have 9c 10h, am BB and have 22,078 chips. UTG limps in w/2000, CO raises to 4000, I call and UTG folds. Flop Js 3d Qs. Encouraging, I have an open ended straight draw. I bet 2000 into the 12,750 pot and the CO calls. That was probably too low of a bet and just encouraged CO on a draw, but I didn't want to cut myself too short on chips if my draw doesn't happen. Turn 8s. Joy and sadness. I hit my open ended straight BUT there is a possible flush showing as well. I bet 8000 into the 16,750 pot hoping to discourage a flush draw and CO calls. Do they already have the flush? River 4s. Real bad news. If CO was on a flush draw, they hit it. I check and CO bets all-in w/ last 18,738 chips. Sadly I fold with 10,078 chips left.
Hand 193. I was a bit on tilt since I had such high hopes for the previous hand. I'm SB w/Kc 8s and 8478 chips. The blinds are now 1200/2400/ante 300. Action folds to the HJ who limps in w/2400, CO folds, BTN calls and I decide to take my chances going all-in w/my last 8578 chips. BB & HJ call. Nice to have some company but that doesn't bode well for my K8o. Flop 6h Ah Qd. No help to my cards. BB & HJ check. Turn 5c. BB & HJ check again. River 5d. No improvement to my K8. BB & HJ check one more time. BB shows Jh 7h. HJ shows Ad 10c. I'm gone.

Payout: 1-5 Entry to the 2010 Main Event, "Five $12,000 packages are Guaranteed to the '2010 Main Event.'" I'm a little confused on this because the entry is to tournament #149038231 on July 5th that has a $12,000 Buy-in where 364 of 1000 players win a $12,000 Prize Package.
Well I did not last too long in this one. A LAG player to my right took out my pocket Q's hitting a gutshot straight on the River. Overall I played OK. I think I let myself lose some chips that I might have avoided but no big poor plays stick out.
Hand 31. I'm BB w/pocket Q's (Qh Qs). Seven players, 2 sitting out. UTG+1 limps in w/80, HJ & SB (LAG) call, I raise to 200, HJ & SB call. Flop 7h 6h Js. Looks ok for my Q's. SB checks, I bet 320 into the 680 pot, HJ folds, SB calls. Turn 9s. SB bets 320 into the 1320 pot. He's raised me often and when I feel he could beat me, I have folded most times. this time I decide to re-raise him all-in w/my last 1345 chips as I don't feel he has anything solid here. He calls showing 9c 10d. He paired his 9 on the Turn & he has a gut shot straight draw. River 8d. He hits the gutshot straight. :-/ I'm outta here. I don't know what else I might have done differently as it looks like he is pretty hard to shake off a hand. Maybe if I'd gone all-in pre-flop he'd have folded his 9 10, but I didn't want to do that pre-flop this early in the tournament and have an Ace or a K show up on the flop.
Hand 14. Here is a hand where I shook him, but only after the River came up. I'm UTG+1 w/pocket K's (Kd Kh), UTG limps in w/50, I raise to 3 1/2 BB (175), all fold & UTG calls. Flop 5s 9c 3s. Looks good for my K's. UTG bets 150 into the 425 pot and I raise to 300, he calls. Turn Jd. UTG checks & I check. River 8c. UTG checks & I bet 500 into the 1025 pot. UTG folds. I probably should have bet the Turn as well.
Hand 19. Here is a hand where I took it to the end w/LAG. I'm CO w/pocket 3's (3s 3h), action folds to HJ (LAG) who limps in w/60, I call, CO & BTN folds, BB checks. Flop 7h 9c 4h. I miss my flop; at least they aren't big cards. All three of us check. Turn 2d. Still a low card. Maybe my 3's are good. River BB checks, HJ bets 90 into the 210 pot. I decide to call. If the deuce meant anything to him my 3's still win. Turn 9h. That pairs the board. HJ bets 150 into the 390 pot. Since the HJ didn't do anything w/the 9 after the flop I feel that didn't help him and I call. HJ shows Kh 5c. I win. My assumptions were correct.

Tour 134 $0.30 + .05 End 1-26 17 Actual Hands $1 Main Event Sat
Payout: 1-36 Entry, 37th - $0.60.
I had a strange start in this tournament which is shown by saying "Actual Hands" in the title. I had just finished the Sat $200K DD tournament and noticed a cheap tournament ($0.30 + .05) w/30 winners that had Late Registration and I decided to jump in. I did not notice it was a 300 chip tourney or I might not have joined it. It did have 5 min blinds which turned out to be a blessing. I was dropped at a table and would start when the BB hit me, then dropped to another table before I hit the BB and was put into the same situation. That happened at least one more time. Eighteen hands had gone by before I saw my 1st cards, which is why I say 5 min blinds were a blessing. With only 300 chips you don't want them going up all that quickly, particularly when you get no cards to play. Then, 1st hand I got, I didn't see it and it folded to me, so I had 40 extra chips for the SB and was still even at 300 when the 40/80 blinds passed.
I limped in a couple of hands later on the BTN w/A5s, but didn't hit and was down to 220 chips.
Hand 24. I got lucky. I'm MP w/Ac 4d and 220 chips. Action folds to me and since I have an Ace, even with a weak kicker, I decide to go all-in. HJ w/1599 chips, SB w/1090 chips, & BB w/720 chips all call. I'm not feeling too good at being all-in at this point. Flop Kc 10d 8h. With 3 other players in, I figure one of them must have a K. SB bets 100 & BB calls. Turn 10s. Interesting. SB & BB check. River 10h. Even more interesting. My hand would have trip 10's Kc Ac, but I doubt it can win. Again SB & BB check. They show Qd 9d & Qs Js. Oh my goodness, I do have the BEST HAND!! 880 chips come rolling my way!!! That puts me about mid-way up in the top 37 with somewhere around 50 players still left.
AT that point I decided to coast unless I had a super hand. None came my way. Blinds folded to me at least once and I made it to the finish. Since I'm already in this tournament the $1.10 was added to my Tournament $$$.

Mixed play. In the 1st few hands I had some small wins and by hand 11 my chip count was up to 2370.
Hand 13. I'm UTG w/pocket 3's (3c 3d). I limp in w/50, UTG+1 & MP call, HJ, CO, & BTN fold, SB calls, & BB checks. Nice number if I hit my set. Flop 8c Qh 3s. I do hit my set! I bet 125 into the 250 pot, UTG+1 folds, MP (short stack) raises all-in w/550 chips, rest fold, I call. MP shows Qd 7s having paired his Q on the flop. Turn As. River 9s. I win and have 2915 chips.
Hand 35. I'm SB w/pocket 6's (6h 6d) and 2810 chips. Action folds to MP who open raises 2 BB (160), action folds to me, I call and BB folds. Flop 7h 4c 2s. Interesting, I miss my set but those aren't terrible cards so I bet 200 into the 400 pot. MP raises all-in w/12,222 chips. Well that isn't a hard decision for me and I fold. MP chooses to show he had pocket A's (As Ad). I have 2490 chips.
Hand 46 I lose some chips. I'm HJ w/Ah Jc and 2090 chips. I open raise 2 BB (200), CO calls, BTN & SB fold, BB calls. Flop Kc Qd Qs. A somewhat confusing flop to me. Paired Q's don't look good and I have 1/2 of an open ended straight draw. All 3 of us check. Turn 4h. No help to me. BB & I check, CO bets 100 into the 650 pot. BB folds and since it is a cheap bet and I still have a straight draw, I call. Turn 5c. Still nothing for me. I check and CO bets 100 into the 850 pot. Since I'm curious what he might have, I call. CO shows Ad 4c, having paired his 4 on the turn. I have 1690 chips.
Hand 74. I'm BB w/As Qc and 1050 chips. Blinds are 100/200; not good for my chip stack. Action folds to MP2 who limps in w/200, BTN calls & BB raises going all-in w/705 chips. I decide to re-raise all-in as well w/my last 1050 chips since I'll only have around 500 chips left by just calling. MP2 calls and BTN folds. SB shows Kd 7c; MP2 has pocket 5's (5s 5h). I have one or two over cards on each of them. Flop 5c 4s 2s. MP2 hits their set, I have a wheel straight draw and runner, runner nut flush draw. Turn 9s. River 9h. I'm gone.

I was doing nicely until hand 10 where I couldn't fold one more time when I needed to.
Hand 10. I'm UTG w/As Qh, 1945 chips. I open raise 2 BB (60). Action folds to CO who calls, rest fold. Flop Ad 7h 7s. I pair my Ace but the board has paired 7's. I bet 100 into the 165 pot and the CO calls. Turn 8d. Well things are no worse so I bet 155 into the 365 pot. Grrrr Full Tilt has disconnected and is trying to connect again. I can't use Hand History. Sure glad I'm not in the tournament at this moment. CO raised me here, not a bit amount and I called. I don't recall the River, but CO went all-in, and in-spite of my knowing better, I called. He had hit his set with the 8 on the River. I have a little over 500 chips left.
Hand 16. I have A 10o and decide to go all in with my 500 or so chips. One other player calls me and would you believe it, they have pocket 8's!!! I have two overcards but neither of them hit and I'm out of this tournament.
