2 HU $10 + .50 End 2nd 36 Hands

Grrrrr 2nd session in a row where I've been done in. Decided to try a $10 HU and see if I could make up my 1st loss. It's a bit scary for me to jump up like that but every so often I will. Again I was doing well in the HU's and got pocket A's and looked like I could go in for the win and went for it and again was Rivered out. :-/

Hand 33. I'm SB w/pocket A's (As Ah) and 2180 chips to the BB's 775. I open raise 2 BB and SB re-raises me to 180, I re-raise him to 390 and he re-raise all-in and I call. He shows Ac Jh. Looking good for me. Flop 9d 4s Jd. He pairs his J. Turn Qs. So far so good, one card to go. Js. :-/ I lose but still have 1390 chips.

Hand 36. I'm BB w/5d Jc. SB limps in w/30 and I call. Flop 5c Qs 5h. I hit trip 5's. Interesting and looking good; I even have a fair kicker. I check and the SB bets the pot of 60 and I raise to 120 and SB re-raises to 180. I decide to go all-in at this point feeling the only thing he could have that would beat me at this point is a 5 with a better kicker. He calls and shows pocket A's (As Ah). So far so good. Turn Ac. NOOOOOOO. He hits a set. Well the River can still save me. River 8h. But it doesn't and I'm outta there.

Pocket A's in two hands. 1st I have them and they get cracked, 2nd he has them and they beat me! Grrrr.
