2 HU $5 + .50 End 1st 72 Hands

Generally OK play by me. Had the other player down to 700+ chips and he varied down to about as low as 500 and up to 850 or so. Every so often he'd go all-in and I'd have to fold with no clue what cards he had. Last hand I got lucky.

Hand 72. I'm SB w/10h Jc, blinds 25/50. I have 2130 chips to BB's 795. I open raise 2 BB (this was often a good raise as he would fold so I didn't feel it was necessary to bet more most of the time and did bet more or less from time to time so I had some variation in my betting) and he re-raised all-in. I debated for a bit and decided I wanted to see what he had. I suspected he had at least an Ace. He showed As 6s. I was correct and he has one overcard to me. Flop 2s 7h Kh. No help either way. Turn 5h. Hmmm, I have a flush draw. River 9h. I hit my flush and win. Session over.

As I said I was lucky on that hand but felt it was worth the risk to get a better idea of what cards he was going all-in with. If I lost I'd still have 1310 chips and enough to still put up a good fight.
