Grrr, short and sweet!! I was doing OK until I ran into Duffer125. I actually missed he was in that hand at the start. In part, another one of those times I was not willing to concede they may have the best hand when I knew from what was on the board I could be beat.
After folding all hands, on hand 7 w/As 10h I managed a win vs 5c 9d and had 1620 chips. Next is hand 8, the Duffer hand.
Hand 8. I have 1620 chips in EP2 w/Qh Jh. Not great cards but I decide to limp after UTG folds to see if anything good might come of them. MP2 & BT call, SB folds, and BB (that was the Duffer that I didn't notice) checks. Flop 5h 8c 5s. BB checks and I decide to bet 75 into the 135 pot .... maybe the rest will fold? MP2 folds, BT & BB call. It suddenly dawns on me Duffer is in on this one. That basically means I need to be a little more careful with what I do as I can generally expect him to have decent cards. Do I listen to what the little bird told me???? Well you know the answer to that. :-)
BB checks again and since I paired my Q I bet 180 into the 360 pot, again hoping folks will just fold. Little did I know what I was up against at this point. BT folds and BB reraises me to 360. Uh Oh. That is Duffer. Hmmm, might he have trip 5's? Is he just check raising me or just trying to get me to fold? I opt to call, but am not feeling very comfortable with things at this point.
River Jd. Rats. Now often I'd be happy to see this card that gives me two pair, but again, trip 5's beats two pair. BB bets 540 into the 1080 pot. That's a pretty decent bet; if he can't beat me leaving him with only 480 chips. I think about it, but in the end decide to call (wishing my two pair to win?). BB shows 5c Qs. Not only trip 5's but a FH!!! I'm down to 615 chips. Obviously I should have folded way back there making the assumption that I'm probably beat and hold onto my chips for a better battle later.
Two hands later I get some good cards to try and come back with: Ad Kd. Hand 10. I'm BB, UTG, HJ, & CO limp, SB folds and I go all-in. UTG folds, HJ goes all-in w/1785 chips and CO folds. HJ shows 10c Qc. I have two overcards. Flop 8s Kc 10h. So far so good. Turn 5c. River 8c. HJ hits a flush and I'm outta there.

Rush . 9 player 05/.10 205 Hands Down $3.20 Blinds ate $2.30
Did this just to check out that PT Rush HUD file error. Indeed there is no Rush HUD now on my machine.
Mixed up & down play. Hand 3 I was up $1.27. A bit up and down play till hand 35 where I had $9.70 at the start and $6.15 at the end. I had 8s Qh as the SB. BT bet ,30 and I raised to .65 to see if they would just fold, they didn't. flop 4h Ac 10s. We both check. Turn Qc, pairing my Q. I check & BT bets .90. Not a good sign, he didn't bet on the flop and if he also paired a Q on the turn I have a poor kicker, but I call anyway. River 5d I check and BT bets $2. I call. No good reason for calling with that large of a bet even though the 5 wasn't a big deal. BT shows Ah 10c, having top two pair since the flop.
By hand 50 I was back to $7 and by hand 74 I was up to $8.67. A bit more bouncing around and by hand 110 was down to $6.05 That's basically it. Nothing much happened the rest of the way.

Mainly playing to check out PT. Suddenly this morning McAfee is finding this trojan again and apparently it is giving PT some problems as PT comes up with an error that it can't find a Rush file, though PT doesn't tell me what one. So 1st I decided to try a HU to see if that that part of PT was working ok & it was.
This was a way too long match which the way it was going I wasn't sure I'd end up winning. Hand 17 he gave me a big surprise. I was BB w/Jd 10h and called his 3BB bet. Flop 8h Ad As. No help to me. I check & he checks. Turn 7h. I check & he checks again. River 10s, pairing my 10. I make a min bet of 20 and he raises to 180 and I call. He wins showing Ac Ah. QUAD A's on the flop. He slow played them quite well. I suppose that was the only way he could hope to make anything, as if he'd bet early I'd have folded.
Hand 35 I had a very nice win. I was BB w/5d 7c, SB bets 90 and I call. Flop 4d 6d 8h. I hit a straight and not a super obvious one. I min bet 30 and SB raises to 270, I reraise to 510 and he goes all-in. I call. He shows pocket J's: Jh Jd. Turn Qh, River 5h. I win and he's down to 430 chips. I feel like I should have this one if I don't make any mistakes. It turned out to be a lot longer than I expected.
I had been playing fairly aggressive and decided to play much tighter. He also started going all-in many times when I bet in, so I became even tighter. This alllowed him to slowly build up his chip stack so that by hand 102 he was back to 1210 chips, by hand 113 he had 1335 chips. We were getting awfully close to even again.
Hand 143. Last hand. I have 1750 chips and he has 1250. I'm BB w/pocket A's, SB opens w/180 bet and I call. I'm hoping he hits something and goes all-in like he has often done when he gets some limited response from me and then I fold to his big raise. Flop 9s Ks As. That is not the flop I wanted to see, though I hit an A's set. I check and SB bets the pot (360) and I decided to take a chance that he does not have the flush and if he does maybe the board will pair and I'll get a FH. Or he could just fold, but if he has something he has been betting it. He calls and shows 9h Kd .... NO spades!! Phew. The only thing that could beat me would be quad K's or 9's. Turn 7d. River Jc. I win.

9 SNG $5 + .50 End 5th 47 hands
Not a lot to say about this one. Not much in cards to go with, one loose player sucking out again all too often. Last hand was a Loki go all-in and loose player called. I had Kd 6d and they had Ad 8s. The board 9c Js 3c Jd 2h. No cards came my way.
Hand 3 I had pocket Q's, but the flop showed 8h Kc 5d and and UTG who opened with 3 1/2 BB (105) bet the 435 pot, I folded. He did hit a set with his K's.
That was basically it. I folded the BB to bets often, occasionally limped with the SB but felt I was able to do little more.
What the fish has going for them this session is aggression and luck. The aggression causes a lot of folds, and the luck, of course wins him the pot when someone calls him, even when he holds 72o. On the plus side, I know that in the long run he won't make the $$$.

9 SNG $5 +.50 End 5th 24 hands
This one was sad. On the 24 hands I had a VP of 8 and the last hand was the 1st decent one I had. One player has been in many hands (VP 50) and sucked out several times already; he rarely folds. I'll do the last hand 1st. I certainly could have folded earlier and there were indications that likely I should but those weren't exactly the ones that won the hand in the end.
Hand 24 I have 1209 in chips, mostly blinds loss, am SB w/Js Jd. Best hand I've seen so far. Six of us are left, one short stack w/790, another near me w/1295, and the two leaders w/3195 and 4975 (the one who has been sucking out w/poor cards). UTG limps in w/60, BT (chip leader) calls and I raise to180, all call. Flop 6d 9h 3h. Ok for my J's. I bet 300 into the 720 pot, BB goes all-in raising to 610, UTG folds, BT & I call. Wondering if BB has bigger pocket pair or worse, a set. Turn 7c. BT bets 180 and I call.
The problem here for me is I know BT bets on junk, but I don't know if he may have hit something and my J's are still good based on what I can see. A flush is possible, an odd-ball straight is possible. River Kc. Grrr, an overcard to my J's. BT bets 390 which puts me all-in when I call (my last 320). I don't like making the call and am pretty sure I have a losing hand, BUT I don't feel like struggling with 320 chips either at this moment. BT shows 4h 5h having hit a straight on the Turn. BB shows pocket 10's, so I had him beat. About the best I think I might have done with this hand was to fold when the BB went all-in. That would have left me with 810 chips. Still a tough grind, but better than 320.
They are now on hand 72 and same 4 are still there. Very loose player still had a modest chip lead.
It's over. He knocked out the 3rd player w/pocket Q's ( a decent hand for a change) and hitting a set vs their AK that only hit an A. Then he ask if the other player wanted to split and they settled on a very small difference between 1st & 2nd.
Looking through my earlier hands I don't see any that are really worth commenting on, so will end this one here.

Ugh. This one had a most dis-heartening end. I think I need to take a break after I finish this. I've had mixed play but overall not too bad, in my opinion (well maybe not as I see what I wrote later :-) ). My chip count had gone down to under a 1000 and I'd come up a bit. Last hand 46 looked like maybe a chance to bring it up again or go bust. The latter happened but not the way I expected.
Hand 46. I'm BB w/1055 chips, blinds 50/100 and I have Jd Jh. Decent but not great cards. Seven of us on this table. Action folds to the CO w/990 chips who limps in for 100, BT folds and SB jumps in with a 400 raise. I think about it for a bit and decide to go for it. If he has AA, KK, or QQ so be it and I put in my last 955. BT calls. They show 10s 7c. I can't believe they raised 400 with those cards. Though, when I looked back now to see their VP(27), I see, I made an earlier note, that I forgotten about, where they called an all-in bet pre-flop w/K2s. If I'd remembered that, or checked my note, I'd have been even more likely to raise them all-in as I did, and seeing their cards, I'd not have been as surprised. All looked great until the flop.
Flop 9s 6s 8d. THEY HIT A STRAIGHT!!! :-/ :-/ I go from 85/15 to 5/95 on Poker Stove. Turn 5c. River 2c. I'm down and out!!!
Earlier in the session I took a hit on hand 15. I'm BB w/Qs 6h. MP1 limps in calling 40. Flop 3h 8s 7s. Nothing for me so I check, MP1 checks. Turn 6s. That pairs my 6 and I have a Q high flush draw. It shows a flush possibility, maybe a straight for my opponent. I bet 40 into the 100 pot to get an idea of what MP1 might have and they raise to 120. At this point I should probably fold, but decide to see if I might hit a flush. River 6c, giving me trip 6's, also pairing the board which I did not notice. I check and MP1 bets 300; another opportunity for me to fold, but I decide to go with my trip 6's and call. MP1 shows pocket 3's and have a FH. I'm down to 960 chips.
Hand 35 I'm back up to 1235 chips w/Js 10s as CO. Action folds to me and I limp for 60, CO folds, SB calls and BB checks. Flop 6d Jd 6s. I pair my J and the board pairs 6's. SB bets 120 into the 180 pot and I call hoping they don't have trip 6's. Turn Qs giving me a Q high flush draw. SB bets 120 again, this time into a 420 pot and I call. River 8h. No obvious damage. They check & I check. They win showing Jc 8d hitting 2nd pair on the River. My hand was actually in better shape than I expected. I'm back to 935 chips.
Nothing else much happened until the last hand I already described.

2 HU $5 + .50 End 1st 5 hands
Not a lot to say about this one beyond short & sweet. It deludes you into thinking you might really know how to play poker. :-) My opponent was from Italy & he was very aggressive from the start.
Hand 1. I had 3h 5s as SB and decided to just limp in as I was still adding the session into my little red book. He raises me to 260 and I, of course, fold.
Hand 2 he slowed down. As BB I had Jc 4s, he limps and I check. Flop Kd 10c Kc. I bet 20 and he surprised me by just calling. Turn Ac. I have a J high flush draw and again I min bet 20 figuring if he bets something that does take most of my chips I might call him, but instead he just folds. Doesn't look like if I'd bet more aggressively I'd have picked up any more chips.
Hand 3. SB I have 3d 4s and bet 2 BB's (40) and he raises me to 120. I fold. It's looking like this may be a difficult match for me to figure out when I can make plays. Now it may be that he just had very good cards these early hands and is betting them, or he's just playing certain cards very hard. Since I've not seen any of his cards I don't know. I believe he is seeing me as a cautious, if not tight player, to this point. I'm certainly one who has been backing down to his large raises.
Hand 4. As BB I have 10d 4h, SB limps in and I check. Flop 4d 10c 8s, giving me a top & bottom two pair. Nice. I check to see what he'll do and if all goes as I hope he'll respond with a large bet and I'll be able to raise that. He bets 100 into the 40 pot and I raise him to 200, expecting he might fire back aggressively. He does, reraising me by going all-in with his1500 chips. My thought is he might have a nice overpair to the flop cards. I'm hoping he doesn't have top two pair on the board, which has happened to me from time to time. I decide to call (checking later, Poker Stove has me 87/13 against a random hand). He shows Jh 10h. He only has top pair, not as good as I expected for such a large bet. Turn 5d. River 9s. He didn't suck out and I win. He has 40 chips left.
Hand 5. I have Qc Js as SB and bet 40 to put him all-in .. a no brainer on my part. He calls and shows Qs 10c. He has one good card and a better spade flush draw, I have the better club flush draw if the cards fall that way. River 3c 6h 8c. Turn Kc. Looking good. River 6c. I win, yeah! :-), nice start to my playing day.

Rush . 9 player 05/.10 205 Hands Down $3.75 Blinds ate $3.30
Generally OK play. Low point was down $5.69. Big pocket cards all too often got no action or very little action, or if I have AK, AQ, KQ, AJ flop shows small cards that others bet into, so hard to get back what I was losing.
Hand 2 my 1st big loss. I have As Jd and $9.90 on BT. HJ w/$10.20 bets .20, CO w/$3.26 & I call. Flop 6s 3d Js, pairing my J. HJ bets .40, CO folds, I call. Turn 2c. HJ bets .70, I call. I'd like to be more aggressive, and maybe I should have been, but I'm wondering if he might have a set. River 10h. HJ bets $1. Well, I've already put so much in the pot and I might win as nothing is glaringly bad on the board, so I call. He shows Jh 10c, rivering two pair. Grrrr. I'm down $3.
Hand 11. I have pocket K's as the BB and $6. Only the SB w/$6.97 bets (.20) and I call. Flop Jh Qh 2h. Poo. A possible flush out there and I don't have a heart. SB bets .10 & I call. Turn 3d. SB bets .20 & I call. River 7h. shoot, a 4th heart!!! :-/ Fortunately for me the SB doesn't bet, we both check. SB shows 8s 4d. No heart and I win the $.94 pot. My pocket K's got me 44 cents and I was lucky to get that.
At hand 50 I had $6.57. Hand 100 $5.61.Hand 150 $4.31.
Hand 159. I again have pocket K's w/$4.37 UTG. I bet .20 and only the SB w/$5 calls. Flop 9h 7s 10h. Both SB & I check. Not sure why I didn't make at least a min bet there. Turn 5c and we both check again. River 6c. SB check's and I bet .10, SB folds. No action on a board that looked a lot like ii could beat me.
Hand 169. One of my better won pots. I'm HJ w/10c Jc and $4.45. MP1 with $23.45 bets .10, MP2 w/$4.60 calls, I call, CO folds, BT & SB call, BB checks. Flop 5h 10s Jh. That gives me top two pair. SB & BB check, MP1 bets .10, MP2 calls, I raise to .50. BT calls, BB folds, MP1 calls and MP2 folds. Turn 3d. Doesn't look threatening. MP1 bets .10, I raise to .90, BT & MP1 fold. I win the $2.24 pot and have $5.99.
Hand 179. I have $5.79 in MP2 w/ Ad Qc. Action folds to me and I bet .20. HJ & CO fold,, BT w/$7.39 calls, SB folds, and BB w/$17.21 calls. Flop 5s 8d 5d. No help to me, board has paired. BB checks, I bet .10, BT calls and BB folds. Turn Qs. I've paired my Q. I bet .10 and BT raises to .40, I decide to call. If BT also has a Q I have a better kicker. They didn't raise on the flop, so unless they are slow playing something I'm in good shape. River 8c. I really don't like seeing that. The board is now double paired. It's possible I have the best two pair, but a FH could be out there. I check and so does the BT. They show Kh 9d. I win the $1.54 pot and have $6.63.
At hand 200 I have $6.25. I look at a couple more hands and stop at 205.

2 HU $5. + .50 End 2nd 41 hands
Not well played by me. I had some trouble with the other players betting patterns. When he raised he often went 6-10 times what the bet was and I didn't have cards I wanted to check him out with. That cost me chips and my stack dwindled.
Hand 36. I'm BB w/680 chips and 10h 9s. SB calls and I check. Flop 7h 7d 9c, giving me top pair. We both check. Turn 6d giving me a gutshot straight draw. I check and SB bets 40 into the 80 pot. I raise to 80 and he reraises to 120, I call. Not sure why I played that way on that hand. There wasn't much point in making such a small raise to his 40 bet and even less reason to call his 120 reraise. He could have already hit a straight was my main thought and I didn't consider other possibilities such as trips or a FH, if I had I'd probably have folded. River 2d, adding a flush possibility to hands that could beat me IF I had hit my straight. I check and he bets 200, I call. Why you might ask, and I don't have any good answer. The only play for me there is to FOLD! He shows 7s 8s winning w/trip 7's.
Now I'm down to 320 chips and for the next few hands it's all-in or fold time that brings us to the last hand.
Hand 41. I'm SB w/Kc 6d and 380 chips. I go all-in and BB calls w/Jc 9c. Flop 9s 4d Kh. I hit K's, he hits 9's. So far so good. Turn Qc. One card to go. River Jh, giving BB two pair.
As I said as at the start there's not much more to say then I played poorly, at best.
Hand 36. I'm BB w/680 chips and 10h 9s. SB calls and I check. Flop 7h 7d 9c, giving me top pair. We both check. Turn 6d giving me a gutshot straight draw. I check and SB bets 40 into the 80 pot. 9 SNG $5 + .50 End 5th 57 hands
I was tired and some of my early play showed it. Hand 27 was a good example.
Hand 27. In EP2 w/Ah Qc I bet 3 BB (180), all fold to the BB who calls. Flop 5s 9h Kc. BB checks and I bet 150 into the 390 pot, BB raises to 300, I call. I decide I want to look at one more card. Likely BB has a K even though he didn't bet on it. Turn Qd. That pairs my Q but I really wanted an Ace. BB bets 990, all but 315 of his chips. I decide to push him for the last 315, who cares if he has a K and goes all-in. BB calls showing Kh Js. River Jd. I lose and have 565 chips left. By hand 43 I've built back up to 2675 chips.
Hand 58. I have 1975 chips as BB w/Qs Qd. Five of us are left. Action folds to the BT who bets 480, SB folds, and I decide to go all-in. I feel the BT is primarily trying to steal the blinds and it's lilkely I have a better hand then he does. I would prefer he fold, but ok with a call. They call and show Ah 8h, one overcard to my pair. Flop 4h As 7s. Rats they hit their Ace. Turn Kc. River Ad. They hit a 2nd Ace. :-/ I'm out.
I feel ok about how I played that last hand. The cards didn't fall my way.
Enough for now. Maybe I'll be back again afer the Superbowl.

2 HU $1 + .10 End 2nd 19 hands
I started this session mainly because I wanted to see if HUD was working after my reboot. The good news is it is. I played so-so this round. Some ups, some downs, and a couple of bad hand plays. We both had been playing pretty aggressively.
Hand 17. I'm BB w/1490 chips. I have 9c 10h BB calls and I check. Flop 9s Jh 7s. I pair my 9. I bet 30 and SB raises to 60, I call. Turn Qh. I have an open ended straight draw now as well. I bet 30 into the 180 pot and SB raises to 270. I decide to call. River 5d. I check and SB goes all in w/1150 chips. I fold.
Hand 19. I'm BB w/1010 chips and 4s 8s. SB calls and I check. Flop 5h 3d 6c. Again I have an up and down straight draw. I bet 30 & SB calls. Turn 4c. Pairs my 4 but not what I'm really looking for. Again I bet 30 and SB goes all-in with 1930 chips. I call, partly because of the up and down draw and more so because I'm tired, this is a cheap $1 session, and I don't care. SB shows As 2c having hit the straight on the turn. River is a 4h, giving me trip 4's, but they are no good against a straight. I'm out.
I fold.

2 HU $1 + .10 End 2nd 98 hands
Not well played by me but main point was to check out PT HUD after rebooting. Still not working. Will try going back to previous beta to see if that helps. I think only the last hand is worth mentioning.
Hand 98. I have Ad Qd w/1050 chips. SB has Ah Qh. SB limps to 60 and I raise to 180, SB reraises to 300 and I decide to go all-in, SB calles. They show Ah Qh. Hmmm, we both AQs, one of us could get a flush. Maybe I shouldn't have said that!! Gues who got the flush on the River? Let's see.
Flop 4s 2h Jd. Turn Kh. River 4h. I lose. Off to install previous PT beta.

18 SNG $5 + .50 End 8th 51 hands
Took a break and watched a bit of SNL, installed the latest PT beta. No problem with a virus warning. However, PT HUD was not working and I found that distracting. I certainly play w/o HUD and have when PT gave me some problems a few months ago. I had no error warning and there are no messages in the forums on PT's site. I might need to reboot, but couldn't do that until I finished this session and caught up my blog notes for some sessions earlier.
Hand 32. I/m down to 805 chips, as the SB w/Qd 7s. Six player table at the moment. All fold to the BT who limps, I limp and the BB checks. Flop 9s As 8s. Interesting for my hand as it gives me a flush draw as well as a straight flush draw. I bet 80 into the 240 pot, BB folds and BT raises to 480. If I call I'll just have 165 chips left so go all-in & BT calls. He could well have a better flush already then my draw, but if he doesn't I shall get to double up. BT shows Ad 8c, two pair. Beats me but no danger to my possible flush. Turn 2s. I hit my flush! :-) River 4h. I now have 1690 chips.
Hand 51. I have 1820 chips, EP2 position w/Ad Qd. UTG folds and I bet 2 BB (240), all fold to the SB who calls as does the BB. Flop 6s 8s 6h. Not any help to my AQ. SB checks, BB bets 120 & I & SB call. Really a good spot for me to fold. BB could have trip 6's. Turn Ah. Not really a card I like to see because it gives me hope that maybe I can win this after all. SB checks again, BB bets 120 into a 1080 pot, I raise to 480, SB & BB call. Not really encouraging. Turn 7c. SB checks, BB bets the 2520 pot, and I call with my remaining 970 in chips. SB folds.
As I said I was distracted and I didn't take any time to think what the BB might have beyond trip 6's that already beat me, could have a FH or a straight. The odds of my A's holding up is very slim. This follows my pattern of not given the other player credit for a winning hand when they go all-in like that. I'll slightly excuse this time due to my distracted state, but it's a definite problem I need to resolve.
BB shows 4s 5s giving them a straight. I'm done.
Now off to rebooting and see if PT HUD comes back.

This was another Satellite to FTOPS Warm Up. 1-29 win entry, 30 wins $2.50.
Hand 13. I have pocket 10's w/1640 chips UTG. I bet 2 BB (100), EP2 calls, BT raises to 450, SB & BB fold. I decide to go all-in. Not sure why I made that decision looking at it a few hours later, at worse I should have called, and most likely should have folded. Blinds are not that high and I'll surely have other opportunities to increase my chips.BB calls putting them all in. They show As Kd, two over cards. Flop 7d Ks 4s, pairing their K. Turn 9s. River Qc. I'm down to 415 chips.
Hand 17. I have 335 chips in CO position w/Ad 9d. All fold to me and I go all-in., BT & SB fold, BB calls showing Ac Qd, one overcard. Flop 5c 2h Kd. Turn Kh. River 6s. Nothing to help me and I'm otta there.

Tour $1.50 + .10. Turbo 197 End 86 19 hands (2/6/10)
I missed one thing about this turbo tournament - you only get 300 chips!! If I had, I'd have not played it. The blinds were 5 min which isn't that far off from the usual 6 min I play. Some turbo's have 3 min blinds.
This was a Satellite to the FTOPS Warm Up that has a $5 buy-in and decent payout. Fifty-three players will get entry, 54th gets $4.
I decided I'd play very loose as blinds were 15/30 when I started and soon up to 20/40. I had a few hands where I doubled up but went down after 19 hands. Not sure if I'll try another one of these again or not. It was a fun session.

2 HU $5 + .50 End 1st 56 Hands (2/6/10)
I took my biggest early hit hand 22. We had been going a bit back and forth up to that time.
Hand 22. I'm SB w/1360 in chips. I have Qh Jc & bet 3 BB (90), BB calls. Flop Jd 6s Kh. I hit bottom pair, BB checks & I bet 75 into the 180 pot. BB raises to 150, I call reluctantly. Turn 9s. BB bets 480 and I fold. Chips now 1120. By hand 50 I'm down to 590 chips
Hand 40. I'm SB w/4s 6c and limp in, BB checks. Flop Ad 10h 9d. BB checks. Nothing for me but I decide to bet 1/2 the pot (40), BB calls. Turn 6h pairing my 6. BB checks again and I check. Not sure what BB is doing, but with all the overcards on the board I don't see any good reason to put in more of my chips at this time. Turn 4c. Well, I now have two pair. That has possibilities. BB bets the pot (160) and I decide to raise all-in with my last 510 chips. They've done nothing earlier so I'm hoping they have no more than one pair. I didn't notice they could have a straight with a 7 8. They call and show Kd 9c, one pair and I win. I'm back up to 1180 chips.
Hand 48. I'm SB w/1180 chips & 4d 3d. I limp in and BB checks. Flop 6d 2h 5c giving me a straight and one that i'm sure is not obvious. BB checks and I bet 40 into the 80 pot. BB raises me to 200 and I just call. If they have something, at this point I doubt they have anything that could beat me and maybe I'll be able to get more of their chips on the turn and the river. Turn 9h. Still looking good. This time BB bets the pot (480) and I just call again. River Jd. Still looking good, I don't see anything they could have that would beat my straight. I'm down to my last 460 chips. BB checks and I go all-in, figuring they'll fold but maybe not. They do call!! Yeah!! and show 7h 5d. Much weaker cards than I expected. I win. They have 640 chips left.
Hand 52. I'm SB w/2410 chips. BB has 590 chips. I have Jh 9h and bet 2 BB, BB goes all-in. I think about it a bit and decide to call hoping to have 2 good cards. BB shows Ac 7d. Flop Ah 7h 2c. BB hits 2 pair and I have a winning flush draw. Turn 7c. Well that kills my flush if I hit it. River Kd. At least I didn't hit my flush. That would have felt worse. :-) I have 1820 chips left.
Hand 56.I'm SB w/1920 chips & Kc Js. I bet 2 BB and BB w/1080 chips goes all-in. I decide to call. BB shows pocket 7's. I have two overcards. Flop 3h 3s Jh. My J pairs. Turn Qc. River Kh, pairing my K as well. I win, game over!
Calling either of those all-in's was a bit iffy and though the 2nd one worked I could have just as well doubled the BB up again.
