Another depressing session, at least the ending of it anyway. I have a few more chips than the shortest stack, am SB and have Ac Ks. The BTN open raises 6 BB (1200) which he has done a few times. This time I feel I have some cards to challenge him with, so I reraise him 2400 (I meant to go all in but missed on my last 110 chips), BB folds, and BTN reraises me my last 110. He shows pocket 3's. I have two overcards. Flop 5s 2c 4s. I have a gutshot straight draw but there's only two 3's left. Turn 8s. I now have a flush draw that gives me 17 outs but to no avail. River 7h and I'm gone!
Now that I look at it closer I see I had 1000 more chips than the short stack. so maybe I should have played that hand slower to see what the flop held for my AK, or folded to the 1200 open raise. It was one of the few times I had some really decent cards and I was hoping to build up my chip stack so I could try challenging the leaders. Choosing between being passive and aggressive in these situations is difficult for me. If I pass up this opportunity, of course my cards will hit, if I don't my cards miss and I lose. At least it feels that way at the time, though it's certainly not the exact truth.
Time to get away from this for awhile.

PS 9 SNG $3 + .40 End 6th 40 hands
Decent play until the end when I couldn't let go of pocket Q's in spite of the board. I raised a 100 limp to 3 1/4 BB (325) and was called. Flop Kd 4s 4h. Did not want to see a K, nor was I very happy seeing two 4's. I bet 100 into the 750 pot and the CO raises to 400. In spite of knowing I shouldn't, I call. Turn 8d. I check and the CO bets 200, I call one more time. Surely that 3rd Q will show up on the River!! River As. Oh great, now there are two overcards to my Q's. :-/ We both check and the CO shows Kh Qh. I'm down to 620 chips.
Next hand I have Kh 10s. UTG limps in for 100 and I raise all-in w/my last 620, SB & BB fold, UTG calls showing Qh Jd. I have one overcard. Flop 5s Js 2d. They pair their J. Turn Ah. That adds a gutshot straight to my chances. River 3c. It's over and I'm gone.
PS 2 HU $5 + .25 End 1st 50 Hands
This one had a nicer ending for me and it came to a conclusion real fast. I was ahead for awhile, then he went ahead and we were about even when the last hand came. I was the SB, blinds 15/30, w/Ks Qs and 1435 chips. I open raised 2 BB (60) and the BB called. Flop 4s Ad 5s. I have the 2nd nut high flush draw. BB checks and I bet min bet 30 into the 120 pot and BB calls. Turn 3h. Board shows a gutshot straight draw. We both check. River 10s. I have my flush, does the BB have one as well? and maybe with the As? BB min bets 30 into the 180 pot and I raise to 180, he re-raises to 480, I re-raise to 900, he re-raises all-in and I call. BB shows 9c 2c having hit the straight on the Turn, but I have the flush and win. He has 100 chips left.

PS 2 HU $2 + .20 End 2nd 54 Hands
This was a somewhat depressing session. I had him down to 370 chips and it looked like I should have him by the way he was playing overall, e.g. he would take small pairs to the River even when bet against and the board showed higher cards.
His 1st small comback was when I had pocket 8's. I open raised 2 BB and he went all-in for 370, I called. He showed Qc 10h. Flop 2c 10s 4d. He paired his 10. Turn Qd. He now has top two pair. River 6s. Strike one for me.
His next gain was my going for straight & flush draw and not hitting either. I have Jh 6h as BB and he open raises 2 BB (60), I call. Flop 4h 10h 3c. I have a heart flush draw. I check and he bets all-in w/560, I call. He shows Ks Qs, 2 overcards. Turn 5s. I now have an open ended straight draw as well. River 4s. Nothing hits. Strike 2. He's up to 1240 chips.
This hand it's the battle of the two pairs with him sucking out on the River. I'm BB w/5c 6c. He limps in w/60 and I call. Flop 6h 5s Ac. Nice, I have middle and bottom pair, my 56o doesn't look so bad after all. We both check. Turn 4c. He checks and I make a min bet of 30, he calls. Probably I should have made a much larger bet here. River Qh. He bets 120 into the 180 pot. I'm thinking he probably has paired the Ace or Q, and raise him to 300, he calls. He shows Qc 6c hitting top two pair with the Q on the River. Strike 3. Not out, since this isn't baseball and I still have 1040 chips!! Looking at his cards, it's possible even if I made a larger bet on the Turn he might have stayed in for the club flush draw having the Q in his hand.
My next foray in trying to get the lead back, I'm SB w/pocket 9's. I open raise 2 BB (100) and he calls. Flop 4c 7c 8d. Not bad for my 9's. He bets 50 into the 200 pot and I raise to 100, he calls. Turn 10d. An overcard plus an open-ended straight draw. He bets 150 into the 400 pot and I call. River 5c. I didn't get my straight and the board shows a possible flush. He bets 150 again into the 700 pot. That's not a very big bet and there is only one overcard on the board. If he had a flush I think he'd have bet bigger, so I call. He shows 7s 10c, pairing his 7 on the flop and his 10 on the Turn. Strike 4. I'm down to 750 chips.
Then we come to the last hand. I'm BB w/pocket J's (Jh Js). He limps in w/50 and I raise him to 100 and he re-raises me to 150. I meant to go all-in w/my last 750 chips here but the slider stopped 100 short, so I just re-raise him to 650 and he calls. Flop 4h 8d 7c. Looking very good for my J's. I go all-in w/my last 100 and he calls showing Ad 10d, one overcard. Turn Ac. Uh Oh. he paired his Ace. River 5d. Strike 5 and I'm out!!
As I said at the start, disappointing since I was so far ahead. I feel, overall, I played it ok and though I might have made a few changes I doubt the outcome would have been much different.

9 SNG $2 + .25 End 7th 36 Hands
Distracted playing mainly, not well played. Went out w/Qh Jc on a blind steal. Was called by BTN who had pocket 6's (6s 6h). I have two overcards. Flop 7c 9s 9c. Turn 3d. River 8h. That's all she wrote.
PS 9 SNG $3 + .40 End 1st 161 Hands
Finally won another one. After so many hands it's hard to remember what all happened. I had mixed play but in general I feel I did ok. Poker Stars replay doesn't have a way to get back to the beginning of the session without clicking the back arrow as many hands as it takes to get there. It also doesn't number the hands so I can't say what hand I'm at when I describe one. Full Tilt definitely had a better implementation with its hand history program.
One disappointing hand I had and that put me in a a bit of tilt happened when there were 4 of us and one player tneded to go all-in a fair amount of the time and we generally folded so I didn't have a good idea of what kind of hands he did this with. I had pocket K's and went all-in with him. He had 9c 3c. The flop had a 9 & 3 in it plus another club. Both the Turn & the River were clubs. So adding insult to injury he not only beat me with two pair but a flush as well!!! :-/

Ending 4th doesn't say a lot in this one. I wasn't able to get any traction and eventually my chips wore down. The stats from PS pretty much sums it up:
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 43 hands and saw flop:
- 3 out of 7 times while in big blind (42%)
- 3 out of 8 times while in small blind (37%)
- 1 out of 28 times in other positions (3%)
- a total of 7 out of 43 (16%)
Pots won at showdown - 1 of 2 (50%)
Pots won without showdown - 0

This session had got off to a good start with my upping my chip count to 2170 when I had Ah Kd. The flop was Ac As Jd. I have trip A's with a K kicker and that felt pretty good. There were three of us in the pot. The player to my left bet the flop and I bet the turn. The 3rd player in this just called. Turn 6c. River 7d. The 3rd player bet all-in w/1270 and I called. He indeed had AJ & I was down to 560 chips. Later I was able to make a bit of a comeback and might have been able to make the money but was a bit impatient and thought I had a good chance of winning post flop on the last hand.
I'm SB w/Kc 4h. Action folds to me and I limp in w/100, BB raises to 200 and I call. Flop 8c Qs Kh. I have top pair w/a weak kicker. BB goes all-in w/5180 chips and after thinking about it a bit, I decide to call. BB shows pocket 8's (8h 8s). He hit a set on the flop. Turn Jc. River 9c and I was outta there. I didn't take enough time to think out why he would have gone all-in after the flop or what kind of hands he might have had that would be my paired K's, such as a set. or for that matter why did he raise me pre-flop (most of the time we just call and see what happens).

Very mixed play. At times I played well, then other times very poorly. The session took a long time. That may be, in part, because PS blinds are 10 min so players can last longer and not get desperate as soon. Anyway, in spite of it all I did manage to make it to the money, then HU.

PS 9 SNG $3 + .40 End 4th 42 Hands
This is beginning to look like a bad habit, 4th!! I played ok this session, just wasn't able to keep chips coming my way. I'll leave it at that.
PS 9 SNG $3 + .75 KO + .15 End 4th 63 Hands
Didn't seem to get much traction and was lucky I even made it to 4th. Didn't get any knockouts. Last hand was a gamble as I had Q10o in CO, open raised 3 BB and BTN went all in. Decided to call them and they had pocket J's. At least I had one overcard but that didn't hit. The board played out 6 K 9 4 3. In retrospect I should have folded as the BTN only had 35 more chips than me, so there was no point in my risking everything when they went all-in. Obviously not thinking and paying close enough attention to the situation and the big picture!
PS 9 SNG $1 + .25 KO + .15 End 7th 24 hands won 1 KO for $0.25.
Poker Stars had 9 person SNG's w/KO. They add $$ for the KO so the base 1-3 winning is the same as in a regular 9 SNG. I won one KO for $0.25.
I got off to a good start 1st hand w/pocket 9's hitting my set on the Turn; the 3rd 9 also made it possible for a flush. Fortunately for me the other player only had top 2 pair from the flop. After that the cards went downhill for me except for the hand where my A4s knocked out the short stack KTo.
I had Kh 9c on the BTN w/2230 chips, I limped in with rest for 20. Flop Ks 7c 9h. Top two pair. UTG bets the pot of 120, UTG+1 calls, I raise to 320, UTG re-raises all-in w/1240, UTG+1 folds and I call. UTG has Kd Qc, having paired his K on the flop. I'm feeling pretty good about my chances of winning, then comes the Turn. Turn Qd. Rats, he now has top 2 pair. River 5s. I'm down to 970 in chips.
Last hand I had As Kd as the HJ. Action folds to UTG+1 who limps in for 50, I raise all-in for 815, CO calls and the rest fold. CO shows Jh 10c. I have two overcards. Flop 9h Ac 8h. I've paired my Ace and feel pretty good about that but CO has an open eded straight draw and a flush draw. Turn 5s. One card to go to double up and be in this session again. River 7d and my hopes are dashed as he gets his straight.

PS 10 SNG $1 + .15 End 1-5 77 Hands
Phew, I thought we were never going to finish after making it to the bubble of 6 players. I played pretty tight and wasn't sure I was going to make it as the blinds were getting larger and I didn't seem to be able to get into many hands.
One hand that made a difference, 6 players, blinds 75/150/15, I was CO w/As 2s. Action folded to me and I open raised 3 BB (450), BTN called, SB & BB folded. Flop Js Ad 2c. I have top and bottom pair. I bet 600 into the 1215 pot and the BTN calls. Hmm, could they have two pair or a set? Turn 6h. I only have 953 chips left so I go all-in and the BTN calls showing Ac Qh. Has only paired his Ace. River 4s. I win and have 4321 chips.
From here on out I was able to steal blinds often enough to keep my chip count and even added to it. It looked like two of the players were playing multiple sessions but they hid themselves so you couldn't directly find out, however, if I could get in an early open raise (usually 3 BB) when I was UTG to them, it often carried through.

The other player was very aggressive, opening with 4 BB & 5 BB bets that usually had me folding. Early on I decided it didn't pay to do more than limp in most of the time when I was SB, so I tended to play rather passive and wait for spots. He also tended to fold pre-flop often enough that it kept us near even in chips.
This is the 1st hand I was able to get into it with him. I'm BB w/Kh Qd and 1500 chips/blinds 10/20. He open raises 5 BB (100) and this time I decide I can call and maybe get to see what kind of cards he might be making these openings with. Flop Kd Kc 9s. Very nice for me as long as he doesn't have AK; I have trip K's w/Q kicker. I check and he bets 260 into the pot of 200 and I decide to raise him to 520 and he calls. Turn Jc. That worries me a bit about his having straight possibilities. I make a small bet of 160 into the 1240 pot and he calls. River 8s. Grrrr, more straight possibilities. Again I make a small 180 bet into the 1560 pot and he calls. He shows 10h Js, having only paired his J's on the Turn. I win. He is down to 520.
I suppose I didn't need to worry too much about his having a straight, since, with his aggressive behavior he'd have probably jumped all-in the 1st chance he got if he had one. It was also nice to see his 5 BB open was with an a JT. I'd been feeling he most likely had Ax or maybe Kx with those bets.
After that he did a lot of all-in bets or raising which kept me in limping and/or fold mode. I was able to win a small pot w/2s 10s as SB limping in and he just called. Flop 10h Ks 5s. I paired my 10 and have a flush draw. I min bet 20 into the 40 pot and he calls. Turn 8h. No change to anything. I check & he checks. River 4s. I have the flush, does he too? and if he does does he have an A, Q, or J? I check & he bets 50 into the 80 pot and I raise to 120 and he calls showing 3c 5h, having only paired his 5 on the flop. I win and he has 450 left. Next hand I get pocket 8's but he folds on me when I open raise 2 BB (40).
A few hands later I'm SB w/Ac 8c, BB has 495 chips, blinds are 15/30. I open raise 2 BB (60) and he re-raises me all-in w/his 525. Since I have an Ace, suited as well, I decide to call. He shows 8d Jd, not terribly strong cards. So it's Ace vs J. Flop 5d Qs As. That makes me feel better, I've paired my Ace! Turn Ah. Even nicer, I now have trip A's!! River 10c. It's over & I win!!
This is the 1st hand I was able to get into it with him. I'm BB w/Kh Qd and 1500 chips/blinds 10/20.

Wasn't sure I was going to make it to the money or not but did and then managed to get a good chip boost from the 2nd high stack. I had pocket 6's (6s 6d), Blinds 200/400. I had 2195 chips. They went all-in UTG/BTN and I decided to call them. They were playing a lot of sessions and had been raising a lot of hands all-in, so I decided to take a chance that they didn't have the nuts this time and if they did and I lose I still come in 3rd.. They had Ks 10d, two over cards. The board played out 8s Ah 5s 2c Jc. I now had 5265 chips. One hand later they went all-in w/Qc 5s and lost when a straight hit the SB on the River.
Last hand I had Qd 9s as the SB w/3190 chips. I open raise 950 and the BB calls. 2c 4d Qh. I pair my Q. I bet 1000 into the 1950 pot and the BB calls. You might think he has something pretty decent at this point, but as you'll find out later he didn't. He had only paired his 4. Turn 5c. That's a little scary as he might have a wheel straight or be on a draw for it. I decide to bet all-in w/my last 1440 chips into the 3950 pot and BB calls. They show 5h 4h, hitting two pair on the Turn. :-/ I really didn't take them to have such small cards or expect them to stick with them when being bet against strongly. River Kd. No help to me.

I didn't play many hands and the main one was played poorly.
I had 10s Js, MP2 and open raised 2 BB(60) and got 2 callers. Flop Qh Jc 10c. I have two pair but with that flop there can be a straight out there. I bet 110 into the 225 pot, LP calls and HJ folds. Turn 9h. Even worse for the straight possibilities, I check and LP bets 300, I call. Should have folded here since I couldn't get him to drop on the flop. River 8c. Well we now have straight on the board. Could we just chop the pot? .I check and LP bets 720 into the 1045 pot. I call and expect to be beat with a K high or AK high straight. I totally missed what I actually got beat by ... a club flush!!! :-/ At any rate, I played that hand very poorly!

OK play though last hand It would have been better if I'd folded, though if it was only the 1st all-in player and I, I'd have won. I had AKs vs AQo & the last person who came in had Qh Qc. His pair held the board: 3h 4c 8h 10h Jd. I didn't get much opportunity to play with the cards I had. AT showdown I won 2 of 5 pots; without showdown 7 pots.

Overall my play was ok. I might have made the money if I was willing to fold KK UTG after a 2 BB open raise (500) to UTG+1's re-raise all-in for 4287 chips. As it turns out he did not have AA but AQo, one overcard. Unfortunately on the turn he hit his Ace. That cut me back to 1230 w/blinds of 250/500.
Next hand I could have folded after the flop and still been in for a couple more hands. I had A7o as BB; we had 4 limpers for 250. Flop Qs Qd 7s. I went first and decided to bet all-in w/my last 955 chips. MP1 raised to 1910 which got rid of the other limpers. I was hoping no one had a Q. MP1 had QJo. Not looking good. Turn Ad. Some hope for me if I can get an Ace. River Qh. He ends up with quad Q's and it's over.

Mixed play with periods of good play. HU I thought went well. When our guru/poker moses says to practice our HU daily, he is right on. I try to start my day with a HU to help get my mind into playing poker. I think it also helped last night when I came in 1st in that tournament.
There was one player who played a lot and not always the best of cards. He made it to the last 3 and at the point he exited in 3rd his VP was 62. He would bet 3-4 times the BB which made it hard to challenge him and even when you did, say with the best cards, such as KK, to his nothing, he often lucked out in the turn or river. I got lucky with him his last two hands. The 1st I had pocket 3's to his Q4s and the 2nd I had pocket 6's to his K9o. Both hands my small pocket pairs held up.
I lost a few chips on this hand. I'm UTG w/Ah 10s. I open raise 95, a little over 3 BB. All fold to the BB who calls me. Flop 7c 7s Jd. No real help to me. Both of us check. Turn Jc. Still no help to me but with the board double paired my A might be good enough to win and/or chips the pot. BB bets 90 into the 205 and I call. River Jh. Even more interesting. Unless he has a pair bigger than a 7 we'll chop the pot! BB bets 800 into the 385 pot and I call. I was correct about his not having a pair bigger than a 7, but that, as it turns out didn't matter. What he had was Qs Js, hitting quad J's on the River. I lose instead of chop!
My low chip count was 690 with five of us left, and with a hand where I had A3o as cutoff w/765 chips and four of us left, I decide to try and steal the blinds and go all-in. The BB called me and showed Ad Qc. It looked like I would go out 5th but the board played out so we got a chopped pot: 5d 5c 7s Jc 7c. Saved on the River!
Next hand was similar; blinds were 75/150 and after I posted the BB I had 652 chips left. The BTN who is this very loose player open raises 2 BB (300), SB & I call. Flop Ks Ts 8c. I pair my 5's. SB checks and I go all-in w/my last 502 chips; BTN calls & SB folds. BTN shows 9To, two overcards. The Turn is nice to me. Turn 5d; I now have trip 5's and it turns out I needed that. River 9d, pairing the BTN's 9. I win and have 1904 chips and am 2nd high stack to the BTN's 9318 chips.
Those are basically the highlight hands that got me to the HU.

This is one of those situations where I snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. All I needed to do was sit there, relax, and wait for it to get to 5. Maybe I would play a real good hand, but otherwise, just be patience!! I choose instead to gamble, 1st with pocket 9's that ended up against J's & 6's. Next was AQo and the board showing 8h 3c 4d 2d Ad, calling a 1500 bet on the River. I had paired my Ace, they had 56o for a very nice straight. That's it in a nutshell. Except for those two hands I played fine and like I should!

Overall the session went ok. I was ahead much of the time, but from time to time it got iffy. He liked to chat a bit and show me his cards when he won and I folded. That was nice of him.
A somewhat strange hand and one that switched our chip counts around..
Anyway nice to have won that one! Blinds 25/50. I'm SB w/1965 chips and pocket 4's (4d 4h). I open raise 2 BB (100) and BB re-raises to 250. Since I have a pair, though small, I call. Flop 2d 6s 8d. BB bets all-in w/his last 760 chips into the 500 pot. I decide to call; not sure why as there are two overcards to my 4's. He shows Js 9c. Well I'm good so far! Turn 8h. I'm still OK!! River 6c. I think I've won but the chips go his way. WHAT?? OH. The board double paired and my 4's are lower than the board's paired 8's & 6's. They are no good, pot goes to high card which is his J. Back to the drawing board with my 980 chips.
Fortunately I was able to get a lot of them back next hand w/pocket 6's (6c 6h). I'm BB and he limps in w/50 and since I have a pair I decide to raise him all-in w/my last 930 chips. He calls showing As 2h, one overcard. Flop 7s 10d Js. Turn 2d. River 3h. Phew I win and have 1960 chips. A few hands later it was all over.
I find the chip/bet slider a bit fast on Poker Stars & it's hard for me to zero in on the bet I want. Seems easier, oft times, just to type it in. In the tournament last night because of that I had some bigger bets than I intended.

Wasn't able to get anyplace in this one. Players were betting big and/or all-in pre-flop so it wasn't worth checking the flop for the few times I had somewhat decent cards. Although the blinds were 5 min it seemed they got big rather quickly, at least that was the way it felt. I suddenly found myself w/1120 chips and blinds 100/200.
I only played 2 hands. The 1st I had Qs Js on the BTN and only a 2 BB bet when it got to me, I limped in as well. Flop Ad As 10c. I had a gutshot straight draw and possible Q high runner, runner flush draw. CO make an 800 bet into a 900 pot and I folded. Even if I got either of those, with the board paired a FH was possible that would beat me.
The 2nd hand, I was HJ w/Jd 9s, I decided to try a blind steal and open raised all-in w/my 920 chips, BTN re-raises to 2000, and the BB calls all-in w/their last 835 chips. BTN has As Kh; BB has Qc 4s. Flop 6h 4c 4h. BB has trip 4's. Turn Jh pairing my J and giving me some hope. River 3s. It's over and I'm gone.
Not at all sure, the way the players played I could have done much more. I was trying to get a read on how some of the players bet so I'd have some idea if I'd want to gamble with them (one player liked to play A-high card (KQJ). It looked like the only way I was going to get in was to gamble with the rest of them and hope for the best with the cards.

Poker Stars is doing a MicroMania promotion for the month of July and one of them are 50 person tournaments, 10 person table. 1500 chips and 6 minute blinds. I was hoping to squeak in at 7th at the worse and if things went well 1st. Well things went well/ :-)
Poker Stars doesn't have as easy of the Hand History to follow and I don't know if it'll stay around when they completely close out this event, so this might be shorter than usual.
At the start of the final table of 10 I had 5,085 chips which put me at 7th. As we dwindled down and the blinds got larger I found myself often betting 4x-5x the BB and usually that got the rest to fold. I was also pretty good at getting out of situations where I had nice pocket cards, such as AK, that didn't hit the flop and the other player(s) were betting. That's about it for the overall play. I did start out very tight and played very few hands and of the few I did play I was able to chip up.
At HU I had 57,715 chips to the other players 17,205.I only had one somewhat scary point when they won a hand that got them up to 29,485, but otherwise playing aggressively worked out pretty well.
Last hand they might have doubled up. Blinds are 1000/2000/ante 200. I'm BB w/Js 5s. SB open raises 2 BB (4000) and I call. Flop Qs 10s 4s. I hit a 3rd high nut flush, which if the SB had an As or Ks he could beat me. I bet 6000 into the 8200 pot and they go all-in w/13,685. I decide to call and hope for the best. If they win I still have 47,115 chips. SB shows Ks 10d. Good they don't have a flush at this point and I'm hoping no spades show up. Turn 2d. River 7h. Phew!! I win!!!

Last hand I had pocket J's and they ran up against pocket K's. The K's held. At least I was in the money!!!

All I can really say about this one is, sometimes the cards go your way and other times they don't. This session was one of those where they didn't.
Hand 16 I'm the BTN w/pocket K's (Ks Kd) and 1418 chips. Action folds to the HJ who limps in w/50, CO folds and I raise to 3 1/2 BB (175); SB folds, BB & HJ call. Flop 10h 7s Qs. Good, no A's and I don't think anyone has pocket Q's. BB checks, HJ bets 100 into the 550 pot, I raise to 700, BB re-raises all-in w/1680 chips, the HJ calls, and I call. BB has As Qh. HJ has Qc 7h, hitting top & bottom pair on the flop. Why they were even in there pre-flop I don't know. Turn 7c. They now have a FH. River 8s. I'm down to 496 chips.
Hand 19. It looks like I have the cards to risk my few remaining chips. I'm UTG+1 w/Ah Qh and 496 chips. UTG folds & I open raise all-in w/my 496 chips. MP, CO (slightly shorter short stack) call. CT, BTN & SB fold, BB calls. If I win I'll be back in the game!! Flop 8c Jd Kc, Give me a gutshot straight draw. Turn Kh. No help. River 9d, also no help. I just have Ace high. :-/ MP has pocket 2's, HJ has A8o and has paired his 8, BB has Ac 6s, just Ace high too. A8o wins and I'm gone.

Basically cards and play did not go my way. When I tried some aggressive betting on the flop I was roughly double raised and had to fold. That cost me chips. I did get AA one time and decided to bet it early hoping someone would go after the short stack but no-one did.
Hand 28 looked like a chance to get some chips back. I had K9s as BB, a new short stack open bet all-in w/their last 160, SB called & I called. Flop 10c 5d Kc. I have top pair. SB checks and I bet all-in w/my last 620. The short stack shows Qc Jh. They have open-ended straight and flush draws. Did any of them get me? No, of course not. Turn Jd. River Js. They hit trip J's, I make no gain. This takes us to the last hand.
Hand 33. I'm HJ w/Ac 10d and 580 chips. UTG folds and I open raise all-in. The CO calls and the rest fold. The CO shows pocket K's (Kh Ks). Not good timing on my part, but I do have an Ace. Flop 9c 4c 4d. Turn Kc. Just what I don't need!! :-/ River 10s. Thanks for nothing, I pair my 10 & I'm outta there!!

I thought it was going to be $10.75 down the drain between that SNG & this HU, but I managed to eck out a win in spite of myself and my overall tiredness. So I'm only down $0.75 for those attempts. I'm not going to write more here. I won and that is the important part for me.
9 SNG $5 + .50 End 9th 6 Hands
Need I say there was some extremely poor play on my part? I was just through bragging to myself about my recent success with the 9 person $5 SNG's and then came on and completely blew it!! One reason I'm TIRED. I was up all night trying to win entry to the Ferrari Zumbini Special tournament and having NO success. Finally, as I said earlier, I played a 9 person SNG & won the entry. The problem? I've had no sleep, spent 4+ hours at that tourney, and still felt I should play more poker. The stubbornness in me is from being so near to getting all my starting bankroll back, that even 3rd place would tip me over. Alas that was not to be.
Basically hand 6 tells it all. I'm BTN w/Kd 8s, 1350 chips. Action folds to MP2 who limps in w/30, HJ folds, CO, me, and the SB call, BB checks. Flop Jc Kh 2h. I pair my K. Players check to the CO sho bets 90 into the 150 pot, I raise to 180. SB, BB, & MP2 fold and CO raises me going all-in w/1485 chips. I call. CO shows Ks Jh. He has top two pair, also had a better kicker for his K than I did and he has a flush draw. Things look pretty dismal for me. Turn 3h. River 6h and I'm gone! See ya 'later alligator.
Does that mean I'm going to stop playing poker? Of course not, next up is a $5 HU!!

Mixed play with a lot of ups & downs, mostly caused by me. Any number of times it didn't look like I'd make it to the money and it sure was a pain just folding almost all hands as we neared the money mark. Last hand I was hoping to steal the blinds (1500/3000/ante 400) to help stick around a little longer. I'm the BTN w/9c 10h. Action folds to me, which is what let me make the attempt. There were not a lot of hands that the players just folded like that, so I made an open raise of 10,500, the SB re-raised me all-in w/29,264 chips and the BB folded. Well I only had 12,358 chips left so I called. I think he'd have called me even if I went all-in as he had a pocket pair. SB shows pocket 2's. Flop 4c 9s 6s. Nice, I'm feeling up about this hand now. We go from a toss-up to 90/10 in my favor. Turn 2s giving the SB a set. Which now reverses things and I'm drawing dead!! So quick!!! River 9d give me trip 9's and the SB a FH. End of game.

Maybe I should have done this in the 1st place. :-) For awhile I wasn't sure how this was going to go and the players seemed to play on the wild side with 2-3 players in most pots.
Hand 13 I had Kh 7c. I was trying a steal and bet 3 BB (180) but the BB called. Flop Qs Ah Jh. I could get a straight or a nut flush!! BB checks & so do I. Turn 7s. No help. BB min bets 60 and I call. River Jc. Again no help. BB again min bets 60 & I call to see what they have. The have Qd 9h. I'm down to 1090 chips.
Hand 18 I get what I need on the River. I'm BB w/4c 6s. Seven of us are left. Action folds to the BTN who open raises 2 BB (120), SB folds, & I call. Flop 3d 5s Js. Ihve an open-ended straight draw. I check and BTN bets 120 into the 540 pot, I call giving my draw another chance. Turn Kc. I check and BTN bets 240 and I call one more time. Again looking for that draw. That was likely not the best move for me to take as I'm left with 610 chips and blinds of 60/120. River 7c. I hit my straight!! I bet all-in this time and the BTN calls w/thier last 605 chips. They show Ac Kh, having paired their K on the Turn. I win and have enough chips to compete now....2205.
Hand 25 things pick up for me. I'm the BTN with pocket K's, UTG limps in w/100, I raise to 550 and the SB goes all-in w/2870 chips. BB & UTG fold and I call. SB has pocket J's.The board plays out 5d 5c Ac 9h 3s. I now have 3730 chips and am chip leader. There are five of us left.
Hand 28. I'm BB w/pocket 8's. BTN open raises 3 1/2 BB (350), SB folds, and I re-raise to 900. BTN re-raises all-in w/2550. I decide to call & see what he has. He has KQo, two over cards. Flop A 7 8 giving me a set. Turn 2s. River 7d. We are now four and I have 6030 chips.
Hand 34 a player w/pocket a's beats out K9o and that player has only 110 chips left. He last another couple of hands and that is it.

Hand 14 was very frustrating and sending me on tilt. I'm the BB w/pocket J's (Jd Jc) and 1970 chips. Action folds to the HJ who open raises 3 BB (150), CO & BTN fold, SB calls and I raise all-in w/my 2020 chips, HJ calls, rest fold. HJ shows Ad 7d, one over card. Now you might think that the overcard would be beat me, but NOOOOOO, what beats me is a straight. Flop 4d 5c 10h. Turn 6h. River 3s. He only needed 4 of the 5 cards for that to happen!! Grrrrrrr. I'm left with 180 chips. Same thing happened to another player w/pocket Q's vs A9s, the Ace didn't do it, the 4 cards for a straight did!!
I did make a comeback and got back into the game.
Hand 44. I'm BB w/pocket J's (Jd Js), 1730 chips; blinds 80/160. Will they work out better this time???? I think you already know the answer to that. :-) Action folds to HJ who limps inw/160, SB & BB call, and I raise all-in w/ my last 1730 chips. I figure if they all fold I still get 480 chips. HJ calls that puts them all-in w/1830 chips ( a possible KO), SB goes all-in w/2085 chips and BB folds. HJ shows Jh 5h & SB shows Kc Qc. Flop Qd 3h 7d. My J's are not looking too good and there is only one more in the deck. Two diamonds would help me too. Turn 2s. River 2d. I'm outta there. The only consolation this time is that it was the overcard that beat me.
I feel OK about going all in there, as the blinds are going up and I need to build my chip stack to stay alive and the way the other players are playing I just can't sit back and wait for even better cards.
I'll see about finishing this later. I need to catch a short rest as I won Entry to this tournament in a 9 person SNG.

I susppose I mis-played my pocket A's on the last hand. Action folded to me and if I went all-in I think I'd have only picked up the blinds, so I bet 2 BB (320) and was called by the BTN. The flop was not what I wanted to see: 10s 8s 9d. A straight waiting out there. I bet 560 into the 880 pot and the BTN raised me to 1120, I re-raised all-in w/my last 900 chips, not very wise, I know, and not real happy to do that. BTN calls and shows 10d 8d, hitting two pair on the flop. If I'd have gone all-in pre-flop he probably would have folded. Turn 2d. River Qs and I'm done one more time!
My VP is very low, in this one it was 6-7. One reason for that is there seems to be one or more players betting into a hand and if I don't have some kind of decent hand I fold. It doesn't leave room to steal blinds and very little room to check out flops.

This one went better but I still need to find a better way to accumulate chips before the blinds get big and the bigger stacks are gunning for you, if for no other reason then to get the bounty for knocking you out.
Hand 13 I thought I played well in being aggressive and got rid of the two non-all-in players competing for the knockout bounty for the two all-in's with only 80 chips. I had Kc 10c UTG+1. UTG limped as did I. The two 80 chippers were next and went all-in. BB, UTG & I called. Flop Ks Qc 2h. I paired my K and my clubs could become a flush. The BB bet the pot of 425, UTG called. I'm not sure why they bet as high as they did but I figured the onlly way I might win this was to try and get them to fold, so I went all-in w/my last 1320 chips (BB has 3855 and UTG has 935). To my relief they both folded. The two 80 chips players had 8c 9c & Ac 3c. Interesting that all three of us had two pocket clubs. Turn 3d. River 4d. I get the knockout's and 425 chips times two!!! Woo Hoo!!
Hand 53. I'm the BTN w/pocket 10's (10d 10s), 1210 chips w/blinds of 120/240/ante 25. I need chips!!! Action folds to HJ who goes all-in w/1420 chips. I decide to call and hope for the best as I'm not sure I'll see that much better of a starting hand before I'm blinded out. SB folds and BB w/9115 chips calls. BB has 6c 5c. Not much of thread to my 10's. HJ has Ks Qd, two overcards. Flop 3s Jh Ad. That doesn't hurt me. It does give HJ one end of an open-ended straight draw, needed a 10 and I have two of them. Turn 6h. River 2d. I get the main pot of 3960 chips and the BB gets 420 chips for pairing his 6 plus the knockout bounty for knocking the HJ out. That helps but my M is still under 10. I get up to 4550 chips by hand 61 but go downhill from there.
Hand 70. I have JTo in CO and 2425 chips w/blinds of 200/400/ante 50. Action folds to MP2 who goes all-in w/1255 chips, HJ folds, and I decide to call. Not necessarily the best decision but I'm getting anxious. BTN folds and BB w/17848 chips calls. Flop 8h 9h Kh. Not the flop I wanted to see. BB & I check. Turn 10h. Great, it pairs my 10 but makes a heart flush even more likely. BB & I check again. River 6c. BB & I check. BB has Ad 6d having paired his 6 on the River. MP2 has Ah Kc, having the nut flush. I'm down to 1170 chips.
Hand 72 I get lucky. I'm MP w/7c 8c and decide to go all-in w/my last 1070 chips. HJ & CO fold, BTN goes all-in w/17,093 chips, SB & BB fold. BTN shows pocket 10's (10s 10d). It does not look good for me. Flop 7d Qd Qh. My 7 is paired. Turn 2s. One card to go. River 7s. WOW I hit trip 7's and win!! I now have 3140 chips but the blinds are still killers.
Hand 76 I have a bit more of luck. I have Ad 8c as SB w/2290 chips and blinds now 250/500/ante 50. Action folds to CO who open raises 1250 leaving him w/1865 chips. BTN folds and I decide to go all-in. BB folds and CO calls. They have Ah 9s. They have me covered. Flop 3h 3c 6s. Turn 6c. Nice we'll likely chop the pot. River Kd and we do.
Hand 77. Hmm, interesting. I just noticed I had pocket 7's for this hand. :-) Action folds to MP who goes all-in w/1185 chips. HJ & CO fold and I decide to call since I have a pair, rest fold to the big stack who calls. Flop 10c 9h 9c. Not looking good for my 7's. Turn 8d. River 4h. I'm done as the big stack gets a FH.

Didn't get anywhere with this one. I was switched to 7 different tables in the time I was there (about 40 min). Last hand I tried for a blind steal, as CO since the action folded to me w/my last 955 chips (blinds 60/120) but the BB called. I had Qh 9h they had As 9h. Board playled out 3s 7c 8h Jc Kh and I was gone.
The difference between hands above (34/27) is due to My stats that say 27 hands and FT Hand history that says 34 hands. I believe hand history counts the hands while I'm waiting to play when switched to a new table.
That's about it. Looking over the hands it looks like I played 2-3 at most and go nowhere with any of them.

I started late but was still ok. Mixed play.
Hand 22 I had a nice win and got my KO. I'm HJ w/As Qh. MP limps in w/60, I raise to 150, BB calls and MP re-raises all-in w/1140. Rats. I didn't want to have bet big before the flop. I decide to call. BB folds. MP has Ah 10d. I'm ahead at this point. Board plays out 5h 9c Kh Qs 9h. I win and have 3045 chips. Next hand I have AQ again and win after flop. That was about the high part of my session.
Hand 50 I give a bunch of my chips away. I'm HJ w/As 8s. Action folds to me and I open raise 2 BB (320). CO & BTN fold, SB re-raises all-in to to 945. BB folds and I call. At this point I should just have folded but I was hoping the short stack didn't have anything great and I'd get real lucky and maybe see a nut flush. SB shows Ah Kd. So much for hope one. Flop 2h Ac 9d. Bingo for hope two. Turn 8d. A bright spot for me as I pair my 8. River 9c & away goes my bright spot. I'm back to 2300 chips.
That's about it. It was just a downward slide from there. Blinds were getting big w/ante's and I didn't much in cards. Not my best play.

9 SNG $5 + .50 End 1st 91 Hands
Phew. I feel I redeemed myself from the last session. :-) Not only made the money but was able to end up 1st. Once we got down to the last six it was a pretty tight table and not clear which of us would go out.
I had a couple of early on hands that gave me a few chips so I could relax a bit. Hand 9 I had AQo vs 76o and carried the day. That gave me 1705 chips.
Hand 12. I'm UTG+1 w/Kd Jc and decide to limp in w/50, CO raises to 150, SB calls, BB folds, and I reluctantly call. I wanted to see the flop but didn't want to pay that much, although it's asking me to put up 100 for a 400 pot, so my pot odds aren't bad. Flop 10d 9h Qh. A very nice flop for me as I flopped a straight!! SB checks & I check, CO bets 300 into the 500 pot, SB goes all-in 1760 chips, I go all-in w/my 1555 chips and CO folds. At this point I don't see anything he might have that would beat me, but he could have some draws. Would he go all-in for that after checking? I doubt it. SB shows 8d Js, he also hit a straight but on the lower side of it 8-Q, while I have 9-K. The best he can do is chop with me if a K falls on the Turn or the River. Turn Ac. River Qd. I now have 3910 chips.
Hand 37 was interesting. Six players left w/short stack of 1295 and big stack of 3265, blinds 50/100. No big difference between us. I'm HJ w/Ad Qh, 2480 chips. UTG limps in w/100, I raise to 350, CO folds, BTN calls, SB & BB fold. Flop As Ac 9h. I have trip A's w/a Q kicker so could be ok if the BTN doesn't have AK. I check and CO bets 100 into the 950 pot and I raise to 550. CO folds. Maybe a smaller bet would have got me more chips but I felt a more aggressive bet was a better choice. I have 3180 chips, 2nd biggest stack.
Hand 68. Still six players, blinds 100/200. I'm UTG w/pocket 9's (9d 9c) and 2680 chips. I open raise 2 BB (400), HJ folds, CO calls, BTN folds, SB & BB call. Flop Ks 5d 4c. I'm ok except for that K. We all check. Interesting. No one have a K? Is someone slow playing? Turn 2s. Possible gutshot straight there, especially if someone has an A 3. Again we all check. I'm puzzled. Does everyone but me have nothing? River 2d. Pairs the board but I doubt I'm in any worse shape than I was before it. SB checks, BB bets all-in w/1415 chips into the 1600 pot. I think about it for awhile, debating if he might really have something. He merely called 400 pre-flop and only checked the flop & turn. If he really had something wouldn't he have made some kind of bet then? I decide he's most likely bluffing and call. That leaves me w/865 chips. CO & SB fold. BB shows 7s 8c. Nothing, not even a pair. It was a bluff. Phew!! We're down to five and I'm big stack w/5295 chips.
By hand 77 we are at the bubble. I'm still big stack but back to 4295 chips. Short stack has 2520. Pretty much anyone's game. At the end of hand 77 we are three. Top stack has 5675, I have 4295, and short stack 3530. Still pretty much anyone's game.
Hand 79. I'm SB w/Qd 10h, 3935 chips; blinds 120/240. UTG limps in w/240, I & BB calls. Flop 4d Jc Kd. I have an open ended straight draw. I min bet 240 into the 720 pot, BB raises to 720 and I decide to call to see what the Turn brings. It's 480 into a 1680 pot; 3.5-1 pot odds. Turn 9c. I hit my straight 9-K. I don't see anything obvious that could beat me at this point, but there are flush draws. I want the River to be a Heart or Spade so I don't have to worry about a flush. I bet 840 into the 2160 pot, BB calls. River 9s. Well I got my wish BUT I also now have a paired board. No flush but a FH maybe? I hope not! I make a very small 720 bet into the 3840 pot. Since this is some hours later I'm not sure why I did that. Whether it was to save me some chips if he raises big suggesting a FH, or I want him to think I have something big so bet small. He just calls, which should mean I win; he shows Jd 4c and indeed I do. He had bottom two pair so did have outs for a FH along the way. I'm chip leader w/6815 chips. Small stack is now 1250. It's looking good for a 1st or 2nd place finish.
Hand 82 the other two players duke it out. Short stack has Ks 5d and the middle stack has Ac Jd. Short stack went all in pre-flop. The board played out 8d 6d 5h 3c 2d. Short stack wins. Hand 83 they go at it again. Short stack open raises 3 BB and middle stack re-raises all-in w/4305 chips; short stack calls. Short stack has pocket 4's (4d 4c) and middle stack has As 9d, two over cards. The board plays out 2s 10c Qd Ac 3c. Middle stack wins. We are now two. I have 6815 chips to their 6685 chips, basically even.
HU went fairly quick. Hand 90 I'm BB w/pocket Q's (Qh Qc), 6126 chips; blinds 150/300. SB has 6925 chips. SB open raises 3 BB (900) and I re-raise to 1800, they call. Flop 3c 3h 5c. I doubt that hit either of us and I bet 1650 into the 3600 pot, SB calls. Turn 6s. I still feel the same that neither of us has hit anything. I have 2975 chips left and bet all-in with them to the 6900 pot. Either I'm going to be in pretty good shape chip wise or I'm going to be 2nd! SB calls and shows Ah 6h. Smaller cards than I expected and I was wrong, they did hit on the Turn. River 4s. I win! They have 650 chips left.
Next hand I had A8s and open raised 2 BB (600) they reraised all-in w/650 & I called. They had A5o. The board played out pairing their 5 and Rivering me a flush. All over!

9 SNG $5 + .50 End 7th 18 Hands
One poorly played hand basically did me in; a hand I should have folded early on and likely not even started with from my position to a 2 BB bet before me from an EP player.
Hand 13. I'm MP1 w/Ad 10d. UTG+1 open raises 2 BB (100), I call & BB calls. Flop Ad 8s 9h. I pair my Ace. BB checks, UTG+1 bets 100 into the 325 pot, I & BB call. Turn 8c. No real help to me and it pairs the board. BB checks, UTG+1 bets 200 into the 625 pot, I & BB call. With UTG+1 betting a bigger bet this time I probably should fold as I can't see a lot happening to my AT that would make me a winner. River 10s. I now have top two pair but it also shows a possible straight. BB checks and UTG+1 bets 650 into the 1225 pot. This was my 2nd clue that I should fold, but having top two pair I couldn't resist calling and do. BB folds and UTG+1 shows pocket 9's (9c 9s) hitting his set on the flop. Not one of the hands I was considering he might have, but definetely another one that beat me. I'm down to 390 chips. I picked up a few chips the next hand and lost on the one after that.
2 HU $5 + .50 End 1st 8 Hands
Decided to move up to $5 HU for a change since I've been doing well at the $2 and it ended well this session. Not sure I played the best poker, particularly on the last hand, where I needed a flush draw on the River to win IF he didn't also have a possible flush in hearts as my high heart was a 6.
Hand 1. I have 7d 5d am BB. SB open raises 3 BB (60) and I call. Flop 6c 3d 5s. I pair my 5 and have a gutshot straight draw. I bet 70 into the 120 pot and the SB calls. Turn 6h. That pairs the board and doesn't help me that much, particularly if he has a 6. This time I just check and SB bets 100. Not sure what that means beyond what he sees on the board doesn't seem to worry him. I call. River 4s. I hit my straight and all I need to worry about is his having a 78 to have a higher straight, or a FH. I optimistically bet 280 into the 460 pot and the SB calls. That worries me a bit. He shows Ah Qs, just the top 2 cards, no pair. I'm surprised that's all he had and happy to pick up the chips. He now has 990 and I hope I can play well enough to keep this initial advantage and pick up the rest of his chips.
Hand 3 was another good one for me. I'm BB w/7h 3d. SB open raises 3 BB (60) and I call. Flop Ad 7s 7d. I hit trip 7's!! Since that looks like a pretty scary flop I decide to check and hope he'll take a stab at it and he does betting 60 into the 120 pot, I call. Turn Ac. Hmmm, that gives me a FH BUT if he has an Ace he has a better FH than me. Again I check and SB bets 80 into the 240 pot, I call. I'm hoping that small bet means he doesn't have an Ace and that he's not just slow playing me to my later doom. River 2h. OK, well I'm in no worse shape than I was on the Turn with that card. I decide to risk a bet of 100 into the 400 pot and hope even if he doesn't have the nuts, he has something good enough he'll drop a 100 in. He does and shows pocket 8's giving him 2 pair. I win and he's down to 620 chips.
Hand 8. I'm SB w/6h 3h and open raise 2 BB (40). BB re-raises me to 100 and I call to look at the flop. This could be a very quick hand!! Flop 9h 7d Jh. Nuts. I have a flush draw but not very good (e.g. high) cards in my hand. BB bets 160 into the 200 pot and I decide to go for the draw and call. Turn Ac. No help to me. BB decides to go all-in w/their last 430 chips into the 520 pot. They could have a lot of cards to beat me; I wonder if they have a flush draw as well. I look at their chips and my chips and decide if I call and lose I'll still have the chip lead and based on their play so far I feel I still have a good chance of winning in the long run unless I do something really stupid. I call. BB shows 5d 9d having paired their 9 on the flop. They don't have a flush draw. I can only win with a heart on the River. River Kh!!!!! I win!!!
I got very lucky with small pocket cards going my way on the flop and/or the Turn & River. I also had a player who was willing to get it in without the best of cards compared to what the board was showing. His all-in bet on the Turn in the last hand may have been a partial bluff and he was hoping the Ac would scare me off and in many cases it certainly would have.

It just dawned on me as I closed Full Titlt I'd not written up this session so I don't have the usual FT Hand history to look back at. Yes, I could use PT, but it's not as nice as FT's Hand history to use.
Mixed to decent play. I made it to the money and then ended up second. My HU play was ok but could have been better. I was tired at that point and looking forward to having the session over with. I got off to a slow start and was wondering if I'd make it to the money. Eventually some hands showed up where I was able to make chip gains and once well in the bubble and likely 1st or 2nd, keeping myself out of trouble do I didn't bomb out 3rd.

Mixed play but overall ok. Toward the end after I'd won at least the Step 1 ticket I took some chances in calling all-in's without the best cards, or a low pocket pair, hoping to have at least 2 good cards. This time, I was lucky with those most, but not all, of the time. The other thing I had going for me was 5 of the remaining 6 players were playing from 3-7 sessions so I was able to often steal blinds and that helped keep my chips at a level I could keep playing and pushing.

Not much to say. Basically my pocket K's went up against AQ and got beat and I was outta there.
Hand 11. Only 5 active players, 4 sitting out. I'm HJ w/pocket K's (Kd Kh). Action folds to me and I open raise 2 BB (60), BTN re-raises to 180, SB & BBcall, I re-raise to 1050. BTN re-raises all-in for 1290, SB goes all-in w/1260, BB folds and I call. BTN has Ad Qh, SB has Ac Qd. One overcard. Flop 2c 5d Qs. They pair their Q's. Turn 3h. They also have a gutshot straight draw. River Ah. I'm Rivered out and gone!!
I doubt if I'd gone all-in at the start it would have stopped them. I took my best shot with pocket K's early on and that was it.

Mixed play. Wasn't sure I'd make the 8 for awhile. Nothing terrible in my play, just not able to do much of anything and not much card wise to work with. Hand 57 got me into the top 8. I had AKo vs AJs. The board played out K Q 3 J 5 and my AK held up. Last hand I decided to challenge an all-in w/QJo. Yes I know not a great hand. Another caller raised and I had to put in my last 300 chips. They had pocket Q's. The other player had A9o. He paired his Ace on the Turn and that won him the pot and exited me with a Step 1 Ticket.

2 HU $2 + .15 End 2nd 56 Hands
Mixed play. Early on it seemed my aggressive play was called and all too often he had better cards and draws weren't hitting for me. By hand 23 I was as low as 400 chips. Hand 30 I made a comeback hitting a straight on the flop and had 1070 chips.
Hand 33 ended up being a fun one. I was a little bit on tilt from the last hand when another straight draw didn't happen and my AJs was beat by 78s and how the session had been playing overall up to this point. I'm the SB w/pocket 4's, 810 in chips. I open raise 2 BB (80) and the BB re-raises me all-in with his 2170 chips. I decide, ok, let's get this over with and I can get on with something else, and call. He shows pocket Q's. Flop Kc 2d 4d. I hit a set!! :-) Turn 7s. River 6c. I win and have the chips lead w/1660 chips. The other player is a bit on tilt and very unhappy that he got beat with pocket 4's.
Hand 37 could have been a nice hand if the other player was willing to play. I had picket 10's and the flop was 7h 10h 10s. I have quad 10's!!. I make a min bet, but he just folds. Darn!!
Hand 50. He sucks out on the River. The River gives me two pair but give him a straight. I'd bet 120 into the 1680 pot and he raises me to 680. At this point I should have folded as the board showed an open-ended straight possible, but I didn't. That pleased him.
Hand 56. I'm BB w/Qh Jh. 975 chips. SB open raises 3 BB (150) and I call. Flop 9h 4c 10s. I have an open-ended straight draw. I bet 50 into the 300 pot and SB raises me to 400, I call. Turn 10h. I now have a straight flush draw as well. I check and SB bets all-in and I call w/my last 475 chips. He shows pocket A's. River 3c. I miss my draws and he wins. He leaves happy that he has "taught" me. :-) I'm just sad my 17 draws didn't work and that I'd not played well overall.

Finally made it to the last 250 of one of these and I only had 4594 chips left when it came. Blinds were 800/1600 w/ante of 200.
Hand 61. Play was going nicely until this hand. I had 8270 chips and pocket A's (Ad As) in the HJ position; 5 of the 9 players were sitting out. UTG open raised 2 BB (160), MP called, I re-raised to 440, BTN folded. UTG re-raised all-in w/their 2418 chips, MP folded and I called. UTG showed pocket J's (Js Jd). Flop 3h 9s Jh. Ugh he hits a set. Turn 8c. River 7s. I'm knocked back down to 5852 chips and feeling a bit on tilt!!
Hand 118. I'm BB w/pocket 8's (8c 8s), 3036 chips. Blinds are 200/400/ante 50. Seven players. The BTN open raises 2 BB (800), SB folds, and I decide to go all-in. BTN calls and shows Kh 3d, one overcard. Flop 2c Jh Qh. Turn As. Qc. I win and have 7522 chips.
Hand 121. I'm CO w/Ad 10d. MP2 (36925) chips limps in w/400, I raise to 1200, BTN (19,905 chips) calls, and MP2 calls. Flop Kd 4d Qh. I have a nut flush draw. MP2 checks, I check, BTN bets 2000 into the 4650 pot, MP2 & I call. Turn 9c. I now have a gutshot straight draw as well. All 3 of us check. That surprised me and I'm not sure if I'd have gambled on the draws if another big bet was made. River 2d. Wow, I have my nut flush!! MP2 bets 800 into the 10,650 pot, I raise all-in w/my last 3772 chips, BTN folds & MP2 calls. He shows Ks 9h, two pair. I win and have 18,194 chips. Looking better and hopefully I'll be able to add more later.
From here on out play became difficult as we had one player who often went all-in even though they had more than enough chips to make the 250, so I ended up folded many hands I'd like to have seen a flop on. I'd liked to have a few more chips to better insure I make the 250, but I didn't want to be put in an all-in situation where I could lose them all being so close. The other problem with the all-in player is we only got a few hands where they were played out so the blinds came around much faster than they would have in normal play and as the blinds became larger that was an issue. Anyway I was able to hand on.

Mixed play but I managed to make it to the money. We had a long HU section and I could have played that better I think.
Hand 50 I took a hit pushing AJo. I was the BTN and limped in w/two others for 120, the short stack, 925 to my 1650 chips, raised all-in. Rest folded and I decided to call. They showed pocket 7's (7c 7s). I had two overcards. Flop 9d 6s 6h. Turn Qc. River 4s. I'm down to 785.
Hand 53 it looked like I was done in but I sucked out on the River. Five players left, blinds 80/160. I'm BB w/10h 9c and 1025 chips. BTN open raises 360, SB & I call. Flop 5d 10d Qh. I have middle pair, pairing my 10. We all check. Hmm, what does that mean? Turn 4h. SB checks and I decide to go all-in and hopefully take the pot here and put off any flush draws, though the BTN has 3490 chips and SB 4335 chips, so they could afford to call me and lose and not be too badly hurt. BTN calls and SB folds. BTN shows As 10s, a much better kicker for his 10. River 9d. PHEW. I pair my 9 as well, have two pair and win!!! I now have 2730 chips and am back in the game!! The BTN player was very unhappy with "Full Tilt!"
Hand 55 we hit the bubble. Big stack has 6095 chips, 2nd 2665, 3rd (me) 2570, and short stack 2170. As you can see the bottom three of us have about the same amount of chips and it's anyone's game.
Hand 75 we are three. Big stack has 9500, I have 3370 and short stack has 630. Looks pretty good for me making at least 2nd. Hand 82 we are two. Big stack has 11,030 and I have 2,170.
During HU I actually do make it up to even with the big stack and even get ahead a few chips, but with the blinds getting so big it's real easy to switch back and forth. I probably needed to be more aggressive, particularly once I got even with him. The amount of aggression I did use did keep in there with him for quite some time.
Hand 153 was the start of my final downfall. I'm SB w/Kh 9d and 7070 chips; blinds 300/600. I open raised 1500 (2 1/2 BB) and the BB called. Flop Js Qc Kc. Interesting but not the best for my K w/a weak kicker. BB checks and I bet 1500 into the 3000 pot, BB calls. Does he have AT, K's with a better kicker? No clue except that he didn't fold to my bet. Turn Qs. That I like even less as he might have had AQ. BB bets 3130 into the 6000 pot. I sure would like to call him and see if he actually has me beat, however, he has shown no indication of betting with a bluff, has had the cards in other hands, and folded to bets. I reluctantly fold. I still have 4370 chips. Four hands later it's over and I come out 2nd. Nothing great for me in any of those hands.
Last hand I had 34o and limped in, Flop 8 K 4. BB checked and I went all-in w/my last 1370 chips. BB showed 58s having paired his 8 on the flop. Turn 6, River 9.
