Irksome ending. after playing well up to and including that point. A new player had entered our table one hand earlier w/3205 chips.
Hand 25. Blinds 50/100. I'm BB w/pocket K's (Kc Kd). Action folds to this new player who is in CO position and he open raises all-in w/3205 chips. BTN & SB fold. I think about it and figure the only thing he might have that would be better than my pocket K's would be pocket A's and decide to gamble he doesn't have them, and if he does, well I took my chance with two very good cards. I call. He shows Jc 9d. Much worse than I would have expected. Things look good at this point. Flop 9c 2d 8d. He pairs his 9. Turn 9h. Bummer he now has trip 9's. :-/ River 6c. I'm gone. :-(
