This tournament has 6 players and pays off 4; 1st - Step 2 ticket, 2nd-3rd Step 1 ticket, and 4th $2.70.
I like to think that if I'm in a Step 1 tournament with only 6 players and pays out to 4 of them, that I would be one of the 4. Not only was I not one of the 4 but I went out 1st. :-/ Folks did play pretty tight and there was not a lot of up and down movement. At the point I busted, after 45 hands the original 1500 chips were distributed as follows: 2035, 1690, 1600, 1520, 1515, and me the short stack w/640.
Hand 45, Blinds 50/100. I'm on the BTN w/Ah 3c. Action folds to me and I decide to try and steal the blinds and go all-in, SB folds and BB calls. BB shows Kh Qh. I have two live cards and one overcard. Flop Qc 10d Js, BB pairs their Q, I have a gutshot straight draw. Turn 2s. River 4d. I'm outta there.
