All I can really say about this one is, sometimes the cards go your way and other times they don't. This session was one of those where they didn't.
Hand 16 I'm the BTN w/pocket K's (Ks Kd) and 1418 chips. Action folds to the HJ who limps in w/50, CO folds and I raise to 3 1/2 BB (175); SB folds, BB & HJ call. Flop 10h 7s Qs. Good, no A's and I don't think anyone has pocket Q's. BB checks, HJ bets 100 into the 550 pot, I raise to 700, BB re-raises all-in w/1680 chips, the HJ calls, and I call. BB has As Qh. HJ has Qc 7h, hitting top & bottom pair on the flop. Why they were even in there pre-flop I don't know. Turn 7c. They now have a FH. River 8s. I'm down to 496 chips.
Hand 19. It looks like I have the cards to risk my few remaining chips. I'm UTG+1 w/Ah Qh and 496 chips. UTG folds & I open raise all-in w/my 496 chips. MP, CO (slightly shorter short stack) call. CT, BTN & SB fold, BB calls. If I win I'll be back in the game!! Flop 8c Jd Kc, Give me a gutshot straight draw. Turn Kh. No help. River 9d, also no help. I just have Ace high. :-/ MP has pocket 2's, HJ has A8o and has paired his 8, BB has Ac 6s, just Ace high too. A8o wins and I'm gone.
