Gambled on an open-ended straight draw after the flop, didn't hit it, another player did.
Hand 4. I'm SB w/Ks Jh. UTG+1 limps in w/30, MP1, HJ, & I call, BB checks. Flop 9d 10s 8h. I have an open-ended straight draw & if the Q side hits I'll be K high. I min bet 30, BB calls, UTG+1 raises to 60, MP1 calls, HJ re-raises to 210, I call, BB folds, UTG+1 re-raises to 915, MP1 folds, HJ re-raises all-in w/last 2385 chips, I reluctantly call w/my last 1020 chips, and UTG+1 calls w/their last 15 chips. UTG+1 shows As 10d, having paired their 10. HJ shows 7d Js having hit the flop on boths ends for a straight. All I can do now is hope for an 8 or a Q. Turn Kd. Pairs my K which is no help. River 8c. I'm gone .. EARLY! I knew what I was doing was risky, so I don't feel bad about the result per se. However, in terms of good poker play I should have folded on the HJ's all-in re-raise.
Been awhile since I've played this low of a buy-in and at least for this session, play is a lot looser!!! I'll have to be very careful not to develop more bad habits.
