90 SNG $1 + .10 End 7th Won $3.60 195 hands

A lot of work for not a lot of money. I mainly played the 90 SNG to get some practice in making it to the money in a larger field. I'm still shaky when it gets to these final higher blinds situations. I might have made it one higher or even more but the last two hands were not played well.

I'm not sure playing at the $1.20 buy-in level is that good of a learning place but it was the one that was just about to 90 players when I was checking them out.

Hand 192. Blinds 1000/2000/ante 250. I have 9c 10h, am BB and have 22,078 chips. UTG limps in w/2000, CO raises to 4000, I call and UTG folds. Flop Js 3d Qs. Encouraging, I have an open ended straight draw. I bet 2000 into the 12,750 pot and the CO calls. That was probably too low of a bet and just encouraged CO on a draw, but I didn't want to cut myself too short on chips if my draw doesn't happen. Turn 8s. Joy and sadness. I hit my open ended straight BUT there is a possible flush showing as well. I bet 8000 into the 16,750 pot hoping to discourage a flush draw and CO calls. Do they already have the flush? River 4s. Real bad news. If CO was on a flush draw, they hit it. I check and CO bets all-in w/ last 18,738 chips. Sadly I fold with 10,078 chips left.

Hand 193. I was a bit on tilt since I had such high hopes for the previous hand. I'm SB w/Kc 8s and 8478 chips. The blinds are now 1200/2400/ante 300. Action folds to the HJ who limps in w/2400, CO folds, BTN calls and I decide to take my chances going all-in w/my last 8578 chips. BB & HJ call. Nice to have some company but that doesn't bode well for my K8o. Flop 6h Ah Qd. No help to my cards. BB & HJ check. Turn 5c. BB & HJ check again. River 5d. No improvement to my K8. BB & HJ check one more time. BB shows Jh 7h. HJ shows Ad 10c. I'm gone.
