Things did not go well this session. Hand 6 I had Ac Kd. Board showed 6c 2d 2c 7h 10h. No hit for me, 10 paired for other player. Hand 20 I had Qd Js. Yes, not the best of cards and not much was bet. Board showed 7h 8d 9h 3h 7c. No hits for me.
Hand 12. I'm SB w/pocket Q's (Qc Qh). Could be a good opportunity for me to get back some chips. Action folds to the BTN who limps in/w 40 and I raise to 130, a little over 3 BB, BB folds, and BTN calls. Flop 6d 5c Jc. Not a bad one for my Q's. I bet 165 into the 300 pot and the BTN calls. Turn 9d. Again not a bad card for my Q's. This time I decide to go all-in w/my last 855 chips (the pot was 630), hoping to close it out and prevent any flush draws. BTN calls and shows 7d 8d. They hit a straight on the Turn. :-/ River 4c. It's all over for me.
I feel I played it as well as I could and aggressive enough but the BTN didn't fold pre-flop and had an open ended straight draw after the flop, and if they hadn't hit the straight on the turn, they had an additional flush draw on the River. Chalk one up for the other guy on this one.
