Was doing ok, then in the space of 6 hands w/decent cards I was out of there. It started w/hand 32.
Hand 32. I'm BB w/pocket K's (Kd Kh, I have 2790 chips. Action folds to the SB who limps in w/60 and I raise to 120, he calls. Flop 10d Ks 3s. I hit a set with my K's. SB checks and I bet 1/2 the 240 pot (120); SB calls. Turn 2s. I don't like that, as a flush is possible. SB checks and I bet 210 into the 480 pot and SB calls. River 8s. Even worse. SB only needs one spade for a flush. SB min bets 120 and I call, and indeed they had the flush ... Qh Js. I could have bet a bit larger but I don't know that I would have shaken them post flop. They had an open ended straight draw after the flop, plus a flush draw after the Turn. I'm down to 2280. Still in pretty good shape.
Hand 36. I'm HJ w/As Jh. Action folds to me and I open raise 2 BB (120), CO who just took a big hit from an all-in player w/T4o raises me all-in w/their last 1163 chips, rest fold and I decide to call. CO shows 6h 8h. Again I have the pre-flop advantage. Flop Jd Qd 7c. I pair my J. Turn 4h. River 5h. He hits a straight. I'm down to 1087 chips. He only needed 3 of the 5 cards to make that! :-/
Hand 39. I'm UTG w/Jh Jd. Looks like a chance to pick up some chips. I open raise 2 BB (160), UTG+1 folds, MP1 raises to 1040 and rest fold to me. This is the same person who went all-in w/T4o a few hands earlier, so I decide to call w/my last 867 chips. They show Ah Qh. Two overcards and better than before. Flop 2d 4c As. Great. Cards are NOT FALLING MY WAY!! Turn 2s. River 7c. I'm outta there. :-/
I did have the cards work for me a bit earlier, which is why I got up to 2790 chips before these hands. I think I need to take a break as I feel very much on tilt at the moment!!
