9 SNG $2 J+ .25 End 8th 10 hands

Very poor early play, then when had a chance to make up some chips w/JJ, they ran into KK.

1st two hands I had 68o and limped in. Missed flop both times. 2nd hand I tried betting pot to see if I could steal it but was called and was down 180 chips.

Hand 6. I'm BB w/Qs 7c. Action folds to the SB who open raises 2 1/2 BB (100), I call. Flop 7s 10d 6h. I hit middle pair. SB bets 135 into the 200 pot and I call. Turn 3s. SB bets 225 into the 470 pot and I call. River Kc. SB bets 665 into the 920 pot and I fold. I should have folded earlier. I'm down to 860 chips.

Hand 7. I'm SB w/Js 3d. Action folds to CO who limps in w/40, BTN folds, I call and BB checks. Flop As 8d Jh. I have middle pair again. I decide to bet the pot of 120, BB folds, CO raises to 240 and I decide to look at one more card and call. Turn 6h. No improvement for me. CO bets 320 into the 600 pot and I fold. I'm down to 580 chips.

Hand 10. I'm HJ w/pocket J's (Js Jh). Action folds to me and I open raise all-in. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up some chips here!! All fold to the BB who calls and shows pocket K's (Ks Kd). So much for my high hopes but maybe I can get lucky and hit a set. Flop Kh 6c 7s. So much for my set! Could I hit Quads???? Turn 9s. No I can't. River 8c. I'm done.

Based on the previous session and this one, it does not look like I should be playing right now. Too many poor plays that I know better than to play. Tomorrow is another day.
