The primary reason for playing this Rush session was to pick up the $3.30 I put out for the MSOP Satellite tournament that I won me an entry to the event. My high point was $10.82 at hand 70. I was going to play 100 hands and maybe, if I was doing real well, another 50, but I noticed I started playing sloppy, gambling more, and calling bets when it didn't look like my cards could do it and I starting losing. I did get back to a bit better play but felt it best I quit at 100. I'd picked up the $3.30, which was my main goal, and had a few cents more.
There were two hands where I managed to pick up more than just a few cents. Hand 43 when I had AKo vs A4s. After the flop of Qd Ac Kc I raised a 0.20 bet to $1.02 and was raised another $1.77 all-in re-raise. I wasn't sure if they might have a straight, but decided to call and they only had Ad 4d. With the turn of 7h and River of 5s I picked up the $4.29 pot and my $5 had become $7.33.
Hand 60 was a bit scary after the flop. I was the BTN, UTG had open raised $0.20, rest folded, and I raise him to $0.40, blinds folded and UTG called. Flop Kc 5d 5s. UTG bets the pot of $0.82 and I raise them to $2.20. I don't like the paired 5's but don't feel he has one. UTG goes all-in w/last $1.82 and I call. They show Ad Kh. They paired their K. Turn 3c. River 10s. I win the $5.74 pot and now have $10.63.
That was basically it. Sloppy play started soon after that hand.
