9 SNG $5 + .50 End 8th 20 hands

I had been playing well, then made one big mistake followed by a suckout where I'd have gotten enough chips to be well back in the session.

Hand 19. Eight players left. I have pocket 10's (10c 10d) in UTG+1. UTG limps in w/60, I raise 3 1/2 BB to 210, rest fold to the BB who goes all-in w/1210 chips. If I call I'll have 600 some chips left. Now, inspite of having marked him a "red" some time ago, I decide to call him hoping he only has overcards to my 10's. Alas he has pocket K's. Flop 6c 9d 7c. I have a flush runner, runner draw and a gutshot straight draw. Some hope for me here. Turn 5d. River 2c. I'm left w/665 chips.

Hand 20. I wake up to pocket J's (Jc Js) and some hope I may be able to double up. I'm UTG and open raise all-in, UTG+1 folds and MP goes all-in w/1130 chips, rest fold. MP shows Ad Kc, two overcards to my J's. Flop 7d 4h 2d. So far so good. Turn 8d. Hmmm, MP now has a nut flush draw. River 3d. They hit their flush. I'm gone.

Did I really need to worry about an Ace or a K falling? No, of course not. I needed to worry about FOUR diamonds falling!!! Grrrr. Such is poker & of course, my poor play in hand 20.
