Rush 6 person .05/.10 100 hands start $4 end $11.38

1st Rush I've played where I've come out ahead. Decided to try, suggestion from Wed group player to stress pocket pairs turning in to sets .... set mining as he calls it. I also checked played when I was in the big blind and some good cards other then pairs such as AK, AQ. Tried some blind stealing but had mixed results and found myself losing that battle more often then not so cut way back on the times I tried to steal.

1st decent win was QQ with a scarey A on the flop. Beat Q 10. Best near double up was with JJ that hit the set with a Qs Jx 5d flop.Raised $1.10 bet to $2.20.  Was called. Turn was a 2s whcih made for a possible flush. Opted to risk it and went all in with $4.85 to other players $4.55. They called showing As Qc. Held my breath for the river and held with a 7d showing up. Best round of this short session. Had $13.28 at 50 hands

A start at getting back the aprox $79 I'd gone down in previous Rush sessions. I need to be very careful with playing Rush. It's not really the kind of poker where you can play with skill against other players. You don't know how the play went after you fold as you are immediately sent to the next hand, nor do you get any real feel for the other players that may be a few hundered in the field.
