Decided to try this one just to experment with Turbo 3 min blinds.Started out trying an Ac 9c w/a limp but was raised by SB to 230 so folded. Next was pocket 2's that I had to call a 90 raise to see the flop.with. . Flop was Ac Jh 8d and I folded to a 120 raise. Next tried a limp from EP2 that was raised to 100 & I called. Flop was 5s 5c 9s checked by the 4 of us. Turn 3h I checked and later folded to a 120 raise.
Hand 7 I had Ac 9h as SB, Button limped, I limped and BB checked. Flop 8s 5c Ad. I bet the pot of 150, BB called and Button folded. Turn 3c, I checked, BB bet 250 into 450 pot & I called. River Qh, again I check and BB check's. BB turns over 8d 6d and I win.
Hand 9, last hand. I have Kh Qd in CO position. HJ bets 2 BB and I call Button & BB fold. Flop is Kc 6c 3c. It hits my K but also shows potential flush for HJ. HJ checks and I bet pot of 250; HJ calls. Turn Ks giving me trip K's.HJ & I both check. River is a Jh. HJ goes all in w/1540 chips and I decide to call since he didn't do anything on turn. He has nut flush and I'm outta there!
Again it's one of those situation where I don't take enough time to think what the other player who goes all-in might have and why would they risk most of their chips if they didn't feel they would win. The only obvious thing that I might have that would beat him would be a FH so his bet was a bit gutzy too.
It was still early and even though it was a turbo I still had time to get more chips and wait for a better situation to get myself all-in with.
As an aside, I'd be better served to look for FTP situations that give me more bang for my FTP points. The Daily Dollar only cost a buck which I can easily afford, so I don't need to waste 50 FTP points for that that tournament.
