This is the 2nd time I made it to the Poker Pub at Famous Sam's, 6PM session. They also have a 3PM session and many of the 3PM players stay for the 6PM. It looks like the players who show up are mostly regulars as I remembered several from the last time and they seem to know each other.
First hand I hit a straight on the River and was called, so I got off to a decent start. Later I had a couple of lucky hands and found myself at the final table of 8. I busted shortly after that, but this is the best I've done so far.
This looks like a good group to play with and will help me with my live play even though there is no real money involved.
