Hand 16 Seven players left, blinds 25/50. I'd built my chip stack up to 2110 chips, on the BTN w/2c 4h. Action folded to me and I decided to try a blind steal and bet 3 BB (150; both SB & BB call. So much for the steal. Flop 7d 10d 2d. I do have bottom pair but no diamonds, so what do you do when you find yourself in this position and the SB & BB check to you, well you bet 225 into the 450 pot suggesting I have something, like maybe a diamond flush. SB folds but BB calls. Hmm, are they on a flush draw? Turn 10c. The board paired making a FH possible. BB checks again, and well, now is not the time to back down and hoping they aren't just slow playing me. I bet 450 into the 900 pot and this time BB folds. Phew!

Hand 30 I get knocked back. Six players, blinds 40/80. Action folds to me and I bet 2 BB (160), only SB calls. Flop 4s 6h 5c. I pair my 4 and there is a possible straight showing. SB checks and I bet 200 into the 400 pot. SB calls. Turn 2c. I have a gutshot straight draw. SB checks and I bet 400 into the 800 pot. SB calls. River 7h. Open ended straight showing. This time SB bets 320 into the 1600 pot. A modest bet but I only have a pair of 4's so I fold.

Hand 35, five players. I'm the BTN w/pocket Q's (Qd Qh). Action folds to the CO who is short stack and goes all-in w/475 chips. I call SB folds and BB calls. Flop 9d Js 4s. SB checks and I go all-in w/1275 chips. BB folds and CO shows Ah 4c, one overcard. Turn Jh,. River 8s. I win and we are down to four players. Will finish rest later.
